Hey guys, I wanna preface this by saying this is not a gag or a larp, this is something that I’ve experienced over the past year. I am willing to answer any questions you may have.
I have become aware of a separate entity that lives inside my body/mind. It influences my actions and thoughts, though I can only hear what it has to say when I’m high. Through experimenting with it I have deduced that it is something other than "human". It has manifested before in my head wanting to "escape", either my body or this plane of existence entirely.
One night, when the presence was especially strong, I gave up control of my body to it, and it tried really freaking hard to escape. I was still there, watching, as my eyes shuttered rapidly and my body contorted and my mouth seemed to be moving like it was speaking in tongues with no sound coming out. Through the knowledge of this presence, and when I am aware of it, I have also received messages from other "higher" beings like it; the messages were small and questionable at first but when I gave up control of my body, or when it took over control I should say, these other beings formed an almost direct line of communication. Some were encouraging me to break free and escape, while others berated me and threatened me saying that I wouldn’t want to escape if I could.Does anyone here have any idea of what this being is or had any similar experiences? I realize the scrotebraination of posting something that is serious to me like this on LULZ, but at the same time I’d rather just be called a scrotebrained larper than to make loved ones think I’m a schizo.

You need haldol stat. Seriously go check into the emergency room. Before it gets bad. They might keep you for a few weeks but man get help.

I should add that I’ve considered the fact that maybe I AM just a scrotebrained schizo, but there have been real world anomalies that I can’t explain due to these higher beings.

The general gist I got from it, and the gist of a lot of the contact I’ve had, is that I’m better off not pursuing the answers I’m looking for; that I might not be able to handle the reality of it, or I might even be worse off than now not knowing. It’s the whole red pill vs blue pill thing, and I’ll tell you right now I want the red pill.
You mentioned a God confined inside a box. I have really tried to figure out what this being is, and of course I’ve considered it could be a god of some kind, but I honestly really don’t know.

I believe that you have experienced the same things I’ve been experiencing, and I want to thank you for that. It confirms to me that I’m not the only one. In trying to figure this out one of the biggest questions I had was "Are other people able to experience this? Or is it just me? Am I alone in this world?"

It might be a Jinn. Apparently they take over the bodies of babies that were doomed to die before they were born. Now it wants out, but you are still here. I think you either let it go, or become a sorcerer. Pretty much your options. Sorcery basically takes that Jinn, and your human self, and makes them both subservient to the will of your praxis. The good sorcery that makes you free is sorcery through the heart, the other kinds just lead to black magic. If you become a sorcerer, the Jinn will probably try convincing you to stay with them, forever. And it will be actually eternally forever. Don’t do that, imo.
Otherwise, maybe you are some kind of starseed and you aren’t fully aware of your soul self, but it still yearns for the freedom it once had.
When they say you don’t want to be free, what they mean is that you aren’t ready to face the other world. It would be overwhelming to you. Human life is extremely tame and sane in comparison, and truly wonderful if you know what its all about.
You shouldn’t be afraid of escaping though, because its not really a true escape. You will astral project and experience a series of dreams, but then you wake up because your body is still alive.-
I’m open to it being any number of things I am pretty much at square one with identifying it, thank you for your input.

the god inside of the box is you in your world, just like it’s me in mine. god is a bad word for it, but a limitless creator within him or herself is more accurate. you’re here because you chose to not be what you really are yet. only you can answer why that is, no one in all of existence can do that for you, here or beyond. you might be too young of a spirit, you might be trying to learn or understand things through experience, or you might have other reasons only you can comprehend. you’re not the only one and you’re probably not rare or special. the part of you that is offering advice or information is worth cultivating a relationship with. the way to do that is through lucid dreaming.

words are boxes you put meaning into. the idea of a box is of a substance that cannot be measured. we both share it, we both have similar meanings, but there’s no count of atoms or electrical charge that defines it as the same between you and i, but it’s still real. it is what you’ve made it within your world, and the same is true for me. it can be a matter of context or a substance that exists in this world but also beyond the limitations of what we consider possible in this shared illusion, which is meant literally and not metaphorically.

you need to concentrate on achieving lucid dreaming so that you can meet whoever it is and talk it out. it might not even be a separate entity, it might literally be a part of you that can’t let go of what happened in another life you’ve lived or are going to live.
if you build a desire to have a lucid dream and meet that being, it will happen. just be patient, kind, and hear what they have to say. don’t be rude. if you hear them out, they’ll hear you out too. another possibility is that you’re misinterpreting, taking taking it out of context, or that you’re only getting a very small part of a much larger message.
don’t make demands or try to command them and don’t submit. treat them as an equal and be courteous and dignified.

OP here, when the being took over I still self identified as it. Meaning I felt like I was the one in control even though my normal day to day self was separate if that makes sense? When I say IT tried really hard to get out, I was trying really hard to get out as well, to no avail.

this thread reminded me that the pieces i write mean not what i initially intended, ever… i will write about heartbreak, journeys, experiences… but they all give me the same message in the end, one that is entirely separate from the initial message i intended to express.

I’m not a die hard stoner weed preacher, but is it so strange to imagine that if there really were other beings out there that an altered state of mind would help us peak through the veil a little easier?
