This. Resolder your $200 mouse switches every 2-3 months and you’ll never experience double clicking again.
Or you could pay $1 at a thrift store for whatever 20 year old mouse they have and never have to do anything to your mouse again.-

i have several of these from a local pc recycler
old mice are $1, kbs are $2
people just throw these things away and i pick out the nice ones and clean them inside out with some alcohol and they’re almost as good as new-
i don’t even know how to find such a shop to be honest

This. I got 5 Dell MS111 mice from a company that was tossing out old equipment. I’ve been using the 1st one for a decade straight without issue. The 5 will last a lifetime and I’ll never spend a cent on a mouse again.

Probably because they use exactly the same switches on the mouse buttons, made in exactly the same factory in China or Taiwan. And the difference is logitech has to hire a ton of French engineers and marketing dweebs, and the chink just copies Logitech’s homework, and changes a few things. Less marketing, no designers, less overhead and lower price point.

Get two MX518s. First one starts free wheeling after a few months. Well fuck might as well just out the replacement. Mfw it double clicks out of the box. The only Logitech product that hasn’t disappointed is the k120

My scrollwheel either broke or has started scrolling in the reverse direction on my last 6 mice. Various models from razer and logitech

Logitech is like the Beats by Dre™ of every tech accessory. I remember when they used to make cheap shit for cheap, but then they somehow got pumped up as this big name and started making cheap shit for high end prices.

Never had double clicking but had to return several g502 with a rusted scroll wheel. Ended up modding it myself with a rubber one from the G903, got it off eBay. Bought a Razer Viper, incredibly good mouse but shitty quality control / build quality.
It’s all chink shit to sell more units.
