this but more sleazy. just buy expensive clothes secondhand (grailed, depop, etc.) and take care of it. expensive clothes cost money for their quality and durability, not like the fast fashion a lot of family brands promote.

This but unironically. Only girls care about money, but guys care about girls, which is why guys get and show off money. Guys don’t care about looking good naturally, they just do it to get girls. It’s the same reason you buy an iPhone to bring on a date even though you really use an Android in your personal life because it’s better, because anything not Apple is a redflag to females

        >Why can’t I simply buy the cheapest available item?
You can, just like millions of pajeets and Brazilians. Low tier people do that

        Thread FULL of misogynists

Because, like, fashion is all about showing off your wealth, right? So, like, the more zeros on the price tag, the cooler you are!

You don’t have to do shit. But at least put some thought into things.

Usually the cheapest thing available is made of a material that looks bad and has proportions that look bad because they are mass produced by slaves who are just trying not to get executed.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to find something that looks good and fits your body better.

    >Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.
    >But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that’d still be keeping his feet dry in ten years’ time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.

You don’t have to but as an adult your weight is supposed to be healthy and stable and that’s where you get the value from purchasing expensive clothes. Usually (not always) expensive clothes are made of higher quality material and techniques or workmanship. They simply last longer, you are meant to wear those clothes for the rest of your life and potentially pass them on to your children. It’s such as shame that men don’t do that anymore or often enough, but my dad was overweight and all of his clothes were cheap mass produced fast fashion pieces anyway, and aren’t worth salvaging, they are useless to me.

Alright here’s how you get designer clothing for free.

    Download the app grinder

Match with some twink you can over power

He’s going to wear some high end clothing, tell him to get naked so you can heck.

Take all his gay clothing that’s probably head to toe designer and run to your car and drive off

    Rinse repeat

Clothes made from organic materials are better in every way, I don’t give a heck where they’re made honestly because the ‘made in’ tag is kinda meaningless what with the globalized economy, but cotton, wool, alpaca, camel and cashmere will always feel better, last longer, and keep you warmer or less sweaty than polyester crap

Correct. You can also start buying from thrift stores to get the higher end stuff really cheaply.

If you have a decent eye (and you will get better with time) you can pick out the good shit and develop a taste that will be more unique than just going to a store and paying $500 for what is there.
