Do your homework OP. He bought that car at auction last year for $3650. It's NOT a clean title, it's a reconstructed after a collision. Check the plate, check the VIN, every time.
The mileage is a red flag to me. It was at 39,747 miles in April of 2014, so it only did 15k miles in the 8 years the second owner had it. At some point, it was wrecked, can't tell when that actually happened. That second owner did some repair work but ultimately *gave up on it*, who knows why, maybe he had bad credit, maybe it took him awhile to accept that he wasn't ready for that headache, who knows. Eventually though, he gave up on it. It was auctioned off and purchased by the current guy for $3650 in March of last year, at which time the interior was in pieces, but the original accident damage was mostly repaired already, and the vehicle was already recertified and had been given a rebuilt title by that point. Current owner, #3, put the interior back together and only drove it 1,000 miles before now deciding to sell it.
"Clean" title is a lie, a rebuilt title is not a clean title. This car was in an accident, it was written off, rebuilt, later went to auction while in pieces, gets put back together and put up for sale on Craigslist, there is nothing clean about that.
Hmmm, so airbag light is probably due to it not interfacing with a replacement airbag (if there even is one in there.) And/or the tensioners could be cooked and never replaced.
Airbag likely wasn't replaced, fucking stupid that it isn't a requirement for a Mass. rebuilt title to have the safety equipment be intact.
Not even expensive, $300 right from BMW.

The airbags FUCK UP these cars, or at least they certainly can. It's possible that's why the interior was ripped to shreds before it went to auction, someone chasing down and trying to fix this shit when a connector somewhere or a single wire was likely fucked when the airbags deployed.
It is not the worst thing to deal with I had a similar thing with my e46 with seatbelt pretensioners and whatnot. Just get the dealer software like INPA or ISTA depending on year and code out the sensors.
If you take a look at it, the first thing you should do is hook up a proper scan tool that can talk with E9x series cars and see the horrors in store and the look on the seller's face when you jack into the car with a laptop.
>auto only
>mcdonalds
>bathtub
>mcdonalds
>bathtub
also the gears are so long it might as well be auto
>Gears so long
That motor makes full torque from like 2500 rpm to 5500 rpm or something ridiculous like that. Why not take advantage?

I'd give him $8.

That can be a number of things including the positive battery cable.
>buying a none M-sport e93 with M-tech aftermarket crap on it and basic garbage steering wheel
I feel bad for you son.
Hmmm... did they just screw the license plate directly into the bumper to hide the missing cap for the tow hook?
They sure did.
thats normal on e92/3 when you put on aftermarket m-tech front bumper. Easier than drilling holes.
>Why do I just want to buy them all?
fool and money soon parted
I would never buy anything from the shithole that is fitchburg, let alone a problematic German car. stay far far away anon.
>another thread with popes seething about bmw
