Can you please help me pick out color for a winter/fall sweater?

Can you please help me pick out color for a winter/fall sweater?

In terms of other closes they’d go with – pretty much all of them will have the same versatility for me. Having a hard time picking one though.

You can get a 100% cashmere sweater from Uniqlo for $100. It’s still shit. Why do stupid gays like you insist on posting when you have no clue what you’re talking about?

          1. It’s coated in a bunch of chemicals to make it feel softer in store (these chemicals will wash off)
          2. They use the least amount of cashmere and the lowest grade possible so it will pill instantly and will begin to deform and fall apart immediately
          3. It will not hold up to washing

If you want an actual decent cashmere sweater it should be 2 ply with grade A cashmere. I would take a high quality lambs wool sweater over some Uniqlo dogshit cashmere 100 times out of 100. At least lambswool will hold up.

but how would I know any of this before buying? Just based on price? Do you have any decent cashmere company recommendations?

If it’s coated chemically, you can rub it and then rub your fingers together and feel it on your fingertips. Normally it’s a type of resin. You can also gently stretch a small part of the sweater. A well-knit one with high grade cashmere will bounce back to its shape while cheap dogshit will not. They’ll also be warmer and broadly speaking thicker (though not always). Obviously this only applies for similar styles of knits. Don’t compare a cable knit Uniqlo with an ultra fine Loro Piana sweater and come telling me which is warmer.

I’m just curious how you can struggle picking out between such three basic choices and felt the need to make a thread. How long does it takes your to order at a restaurant ? 15 minutes ?

im partial to the white one myself and i believe its more fitting of the fall colors than charcoal and maybe on par or a little better than the blue.

I really like the cut and colors of these. I know Rubato purposely makes them for high rise trousers which are perfect for me. Anything like this store in the US? Thanks.

I’m pretty light, not pale nor pink I’d go with the beige, I don’t like wearing blue but that one will work for my skin tone, charcoal is cool but it’will wash me out,
