No it's a poverty brand with penny pinching on every corner, especially engines and transmissions

How come you see 10 old Corollas for every rusted out 3, 6, RX7 RX8 CX# of any year on the road?

Get an RDX or MDX. You're welcome.

But the RDX/MDX are also penny-pincher pods that're sold for ridiculous markup

And come the day you sell, you get so much back compared to junkyard Mazdas and other imitation Honda/Toyotas

It's almost like top selling units are well made products

I know this bait, but I'll bite anyways. Nobody says this while doing any sort body repair or mechanical work on an F-Series truck. Do I need to bring up the TSBs or the procedure to do any kind of disassembly? You are correct, the F-150 is one of the top selling vehicles in the country. I just don't see how high sales figures=quality product.

No not Ford you dummy. Honda and Toyota. Civic Corolla Camry Accord CR-V RAV4 Tacoma
And the premium Lexus Acura lineup, they're all quality, and they're worth so much more than fricking Mazda and everything else out there, apples to apples.

            >he brings up fricking ford wtffff

isn't the market for that kind of saturated already? you'd be competing with the nupra, other bimmers with the b58/s58, and the new Z.

I think Miata people would like it. I would like a bigger miata

            Anonymous

would the average miata owner be able to justify that purchase? it'd be significantly more expensive, heavier, faster, while fulfilling some of the niche of being a two-seater roadster. imo, currently miatas are unique in the market for being lightweight, nimble, and relatively cheap. a mazda i6 coupe loses a lot of those unique selling factors, which would force it to compete with other current 40k+ sports cars, and people would inevitable bench race that shit into oblivion.

Yeah, better just make another crossover instead.

I'm not saying I don't think an MX6 would be cool, but I can completely understand why it's hard for mazda to justify it.

I'm just saying there are probably people that like Mazda but think the Miata is too small. If they can make it start at 40k while having a better interior I think that car would stand a chance.

People here are too poor to afford pretty much any new car save for a Mirage

They want fast, comfortable car without excessive luxury. RX was best example of this, second are the MPS 2002-2013. The MPS(speed) models were faster than Skyactiv-G turbo 2.5. MPS models also had manual transmission as option and Mazda was originally more sporty car manufacturer before their current stupidity on focusing luxury.
First 2018 Skyactiv-G 2.5 turbo was faster than 2021-2023 because of this stupid luxury thing, Mazda retuned the engine so it would not spin tires on acceleration so much at lower rpms because so many pussified car reviews constantly complained about spinning tires too often.

Sure miata is ok, but some even more from their car than miata can offer.

I can understand that way of thinking. I drive an '04 RX8 and '22 turbo sedan. Unfortunately the market is trending upscale all across the board due to regulations. Hard for me to hate their luxury swing though because the comfort in the new Mazda's is nice I just wish they had some more powerful versions. They also need the manual back in something more powerful. Seems their driver's spirit is dying off slowly despite their marketing claiming otherwise. I was about ready to start a fight when they did that massive ad campaign to reveal the CX-90. Pulling out all their racecars and sports cars only to reveal a 3 row SUV. They seem to be swinging the wrong way too. I bought my turbo because it had a good midpoint for me that no other new car offered. It had tech without disgusting glued on tablets and it had power enough to enjoy. I liked where they were at with the 22 turbo I bought, but they seem to be trending in a bad direction. I can confidently say I wouldnt buy anything in their current line-up over their competitors, and I would decline a free upgrade to the '23 turbo even.

Rant over. tl;dr: I love and hate Mazda. Give me a rotary sports car, manual options in the turbos, and don't follow the tech trends everyone else is doing.

They're swinging towards the way that makes them more money. Driver oriented cars are nice and all, but the reality is most car enthusiasts are only ever interested in buying cars used

        Heres an example.

        >He implicates. Im too stupid from my head to manage how much to press throttle pedal to avoid tire spinning, I just keep flooring the throttle pedal. Mazda needs to fix this issue of tire spinning.

Would it fit? If so, I wonder how well it would sell, especially if they had to make it more upmarket to attract big bucks for low volume and/or in case of having to beef up other parts of it. Also how much they could legitimately devote to getting it reasonably close to as well sorted.
