Would turn into a full blown beard if he let it grow. It’s stubble because well, he is keeping it at stubble length there.

You have the asian beard genes, just gonna have to deal with only being able to grow a Fu Manchu beard.

just take it orally, 4 drops of 5% liquid is 5mg but you’ll grow hair all over your body if you’re genetically predisposed for it

Not true, the hair grows back in stages, first its a weak lighter hair that grows from minoxidil. If you stop applying it at this stage, the hair will fall out. If you keep applying the hair will shed and grow back with proper roots and continue to grow the rest of your life. This takes about 6 months of daily application. After that the more you apply the thicker the facial hair will get, because more new hair follicles will grow. If you stop applying the newer follicles will fall out, but the ones that have taken root will not.

the truth is that we’re in uncharted waters and there aren’t many reputable studies, it’s not even meant to be used on your beard, everyone is experimenting on themselves and hoping for the best>

Use the foam from Kirkland. The beard gains are permanent unlike the head hair gains. It expedites your genetic potential. If you have shit beard genes it won’t make it better.

Minox is an actual hecking medication, it’s not some hecking thing to "try" and "hope to grow". It has a shitload of side-effects. It doesn’t matter where you apply it, effect will be everywhere, you’ll start shedding hair on your head for example because it makes that your natural cycle of shedding will be overwritten by minox’s cycle. And yes, minox has effect WHILE it is being consistently applied, and if you’ll stop there will be a return to your normal cycle, and all the consequences.

same shit. "foam from Kirkland" or oil "from Kirkland" – same shit. It’s about the amount of medication.

      Don’t do this

just take it orally, 4 drops of 5% liquid is 5mg but you’ll grow hair all over your body if you’re genetically predisposed for it

      – not only you’ll grow hair all over your body, you’ll also have other side-effects, you can google them.

"I’m only able to grow some on my moustache and chin area" that’s not bad, just style them a little.

What do you want – health or temporary visual effect that will have deep consequences? Think for yourself, bro.

so I get not taking it orally, that actually sounds hilariously stupid, but would you suggest maybe trying for a couple weeks to see if any side effects do arise? Aside from the hair falling out cycle, that’s to be expected, I mean the harsher stuff.

        Minox sides are vastly overrated.
Yes, it’s not a good vasodilator and hypertensive medication because it has too many side effects to be worth it, but the blood pressure dosage is 10-40mg and most people take 2.5-5mg for hair growth.

Just acclimate to it, take 1mg, then if you feel fine, take 2mg, then 4mg, and so on.

guy with full beard hair here.

I used it to get a few patches that are covered with hair. hard to notice it at a certain length.

It gained me a few hairs… perhaps. mainly facial dandruff.
it flakes off on your shirt

so if you want that and can deal with it sure.

not sure on this but I had facial dandruff. shit would flake off.

did it work? …. I THINK so… I stopped cause it was hecking annoying.

nizoral on my face? lol no its from the minox. I stopped using it and it went away.
It was only on the 1 spot I applied it to.

Almost everyone else can, why not you too? Go to old.reddit.com/r/minoxbeards and search "asian". You’ll find bunch of buys who grew a beard despite not having much growth to begin with. Also foam might be little more pleasant to use than liquid imo.

I have been using minox for past 8 months with no sides. While discontinuing application on scalp will lead to loss of gains, that doesn’t apply to face.

Keep in mind that Minox is toxic to most animals. If you put it on your beard, and your beard touches something or it drips down, then your cat/dog/hamster/whatever will die if they touch it.

Results from minoxidil vary greatly, same with the amount you keep when you stop taking it.
You will only know once you try it, but the general consensus is that you need to keep taking it for at least 6 months to a year after you reach your beard goals in order to maximize the amount of hairs that turn terminal.

it does work with dedication but why would you even wanna do that? Honestly I envy asians for their glass skin, there’s no need to go through the hassle of shaving it and as long as you take anti-aging seriously (sunscreen, tret, healthy diet) you’ll look good for so long.
I have full beard growth and even when I do a super close shave my skin will still have that little bit of a shadow and I hate that. I don’t wanna look old yet dammit. I’ve thought about lasering it but I don’t wanna get rid of it completely, I wanna have a mustache when I’m in my thirties but I’m 24 and wanna look youthful for now 🙁
