I don't think doctors are uniquely/particularly transphobic but most of them definitely are absolutely horrible at trans healthcare and don't know what they're doing.
Though I'm kind of fringe and believe that trans healthcare is not actually "healthcare" at all and that gender transitioning is a complete mismatch for the medical profession and that is why doctors will probably never be suitable for it even in years or decades from now. It's like going to a carpenter when you need a pipe fixed.

Yes, because doctors have no more of a financial incentive purveying gender affirming care than any other kind of medical care, and because I understand how medical treatment policy typically gets set on the basis of actual, peer reviewed evidence rather than bigotry.
In the sense of trusting my endo to not hondose me? Fuck no, I get my blood tests done at a place that lets me see copies of the results online and I research contemporary GAC standards for what reference intervals should be so I can make sure I'm on the right dosages.
What incentives? The medicines are generic. Maybe a surgeon wants to give you surgery, but you're the one going to the surgeon and saying 'I would like surgery.
