that's because there is a piece of god in it. God is aware of everything, holding it all together, if god decides to stop being aware of something, that something disappears. My working theory is that multiple gods help each other hold things together so that way we don't accidentally stop existing out of nowhere, but our own awareness takes active part in this all encompassing consciousness, so maybe we are helping as well. Now the question is, can a god forget himself?
Your example doesn't give the object self-realization. It would be more like you personifying a block of wood and saying it knows it exists.
With the inclusion of the metaphysical soul, the question of whether a god could forget it exists is answered. Anything on a long enough time line, without responsive interaction, would forget it exists. The unwavering pace of space.
I forget people can perceive me sometimes. Sorta similar.
Otherwise, objects have to recognize and 'put to mind' before they can forget. Now if we are talking about objects as embodiments for souls and are only referencing the tangible bodies as the beings, if a soul was confined to any such object I would yes that yes, after moments of time beyond our human understanding, those objects have a high chance to forget they exist while possibly still being able to perceive the space they occupy.
Reality is made of consciousness - it is a conscious simulation.
how is it aware of its own existence? are there objects it's aware of? you can't remember something you've never realized.

>Anything on a long enough time line
that's the thing though. God is above time and space, so what I'm asking is, can a god decide to stop existing?
Interesting thought. I guess everything can.

Not if it can't remember in the first place
Yeah. Your brain and dick.
Yeah, they dissappear when I leave the rooms they're in or when I am not looking.
Oh hey it's you again. How are you doing?
I just lost my third gift card cause the object deleted itself out of existence
This thread reminds me of Loop Hero. God is tired of his creation and he will make space for a new world
Vu que tu en parle tu viens de la créer dans notre réalité
