If evil dwells in the heart of the MAN he can not do good. Because he is evil.
The only way to eradice the evil from this world is the total extermination of all humans.
This is just self-hatred. You know Jesus Christ made a point of spending time with people that society looked down on in order to shame the holy-than-thou hypocrites of His time (Pharisees).
That's what you read into it which is kind of sick. It's just a theological question. If sins of an evil man who did evil things are absolved but the man is still evil but pious, can he still go to heaven? Or does having his evil actions forgiven automatically make him good? Evil is as evil does or something else?
>theological >sin
I am not religious and sin is a religious term
but
religion, though the lore is never true and those things didn't happen IRL

same as religion above but without the lore and the stories
ultimately helps you and yours prosper and survive better
>Ok, what are your philosophical thoughts on ethics and your theological thoughts on sin?
Ethics exist, atleast to a minor level, objectively, both from a theological and from a scientific point of view. From a religious point of view, the bible says >They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
From an evolutionary perspective morals evolved as a method that lead to the propagation of our species, of course, in this case, it depends a lot on the culture, but almost universally, harming someone without a reason would cause a normal person of any community to feel some level of guilt, because such action would lead to the decline of the community which would make a group or species weaker, leading to less procreation.
As for sin I think it is a rejection of God. Considering we have free will, every choice we make either brings us closer to God or it leads us further from Him. Which leads me to what you said about evil men not doing evil. The bible describes sin as coming from within and as that it first forms in our minds, but even at that stage, the sin has already taken form
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
An adulterer in action is first an adulterer in thought. This is the same with a murderer (see also: Matthew 5:21-22; 1st John 3:15).
Of course, sin can be forgiven, but for a sin to be forgiven it must come with guilt. If a man who is evil, but who never acted on his evil desires does not feel guilt then I don't think that man can enter heaven. If one man is so unlucky to be bombarded by evil thoughts non stop, then I doubt he could ever abstain from doing evil, but, if he feels the guilt of his action then he could be forgiven and he could probably entry heaven. Both variants are pretty stupid I have to admit, there's also the case of people like psychopats and sociopath who can't even feel these feelings and if that was their destiny then why should they be punished for being selfish? Honestly I don't anyone can come out with an answer for this question. Christianity is not a karmic religion, its not about doing good to get rewards.
But, one thing is certain. God loves everyone as it is said
You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
So I think, as Christians, our job is not understand such a person, but to treat it with love, as God tells us to do.

>Can a man be evil and not do evil things?
No. A man cannot be evil if his deeds are good, evil men's evil deeds are their evil. >Can he go to heaven
Yes, if he stops doing evil. Doesn't mean he's free from consequences on earth tho.
Good comes from God, Evil comes from Satan. Men are either serving God, or Satan, you cannot serve both at the same time.
Evil is nothing. Evil is the lack of good. If you want to save your soul you must be traditional Catholic and die in the state of grace.
Pope Eugene IV, “Cantate Domino", Council of Florence
"It firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also israelites and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart “into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels”, unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church."
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Sess. 8, Nov. 22, 1439, ex cathedra: “Whoever wishes to be saved, needs above all to hold the Catholic faith; unless each one preserves this whole and inviolate, he will without a doubt perish in eternity.– But the Catholic faith is this, that we worship one God in the Trinity, and the Trinity in unity... Therefore let him who wishes to be saved, think thus concerning the Trinity. “But it is necessary for eternal salvation that he faithfully believe also in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ...the Son of God is God and man...– This is the Catholic faith; unless each one believes this faithfully and firmly, he cannot be saved.”
You don't have to do evil things to be an evil person, by not doing good when you had the chance to do so you won a ticket to hell. People's morals keep them watching, nobody helps out their brothers anymore, because the world teaches you that you don't need others. Our rulers are evil, if we follow them without ever questioning them, we are being evil because of laziness and indifference.
But, evil people that tried to fight their thoughts and impulses, not acting on their evilness because THEY KNOW it is bad, could potentially go to heaven, but of course it depends on a lot of other factors.
Seemingly good people will go to hell, and seemingly bad people will share heaven with you. That's the truth.
Not Christian but look at the age we are in, the Pope likes gay marriage and sucks Israel off, and Prots also suck Israel off with the Dispensationalist heresy.
So if your Church is captured by evil, perhaps it’s better to just pray alone and try to follow Jesus for yourself
3/3 also please become traditional Catholic. Also the earth is flat.

Have you considered the possibility that you might regrettably be mentally ill? I do not use the term "mentally ill" in the usual derisory sense, but in a reasonably normal discussion which started out with one guy saying that he wasn't even Christian, you tried to throw a whole book's worth of mishmash of Sedevacantism, doctrines about desire, flat Earthism, ex ecclesia nulla salus at him. Not many people even know baptism of desire even is. Why would you try to get him to have some position on it?
You evidently cannot gauge the state of his mind accurately, which indicates some dysfunction in yours. This, too, I intend as a proposed diagnosis, not as an insult.
Let's take a practical, everyday, relatable example: If someone asks me >Hey, I'd like to get into anime, do you recommend anything?
the appropriate response is something like >sure, what kind of anime, is there some theme you like, like personal stories, or battles, sci-fi, fantasy?
or >Full Metal Alchemist is very popular, or how about One Punch Man?
