Because fuck you, that's why.
>look how hard i can debtmax
>look how much harder i can debtmax
>remember how hard i debtmaxed?
>nah bro remember i debtmaxed harder
>when are our children coming to the nursing home? they never visit us
>doesnt matter bro i debtmaxed harder than you
This honestly, these truck bros are taking the my kids can suck it mentality to 11, and not even in an ironic way.
How have responsible savers done better in the last twenty years? Inflation ate away at any savings. Inflation ate away all the debt so people who lived beyond their means got to have mcmansions and huge vehicles for free.
There are people who send their kids to gaynagger holocaust propaganda centres (public schools) because they can’t afford a good private school due to paying off a new truck.
America is sick.
I never thought about it this way. Apparently the average tuition for a private school is 8k. You cant make the argument that public schools are better for anything, not even socialization. Especially not these days. That's actually insane to think about it. People spend more money on their cars, a depreciating asset, than their kids' education.
you guys have kids??
i never laughed harder than when i figured out these nagger rims are financed over half of the time
You have to understand, if you drive a big truck it makes people think you have a big dick. How else are they supposed to keep people from finding out about their micropecker?
>sees truck
>first thing they talk about is the drivers' penis
Why do redditors?
cope and seethe urban trash
Why do you people think trucks can only be work vehicles?
>Americans go into crippling debt for some faux leather and chrome
it's a bitch too because we used to be able to get into less debt for real leather and thicker chrome.
These cost as much as a base Hilux there. Smart people can easily afford them without going into debt. The $600/mo we don't have to spend on internet covers a big chunk of a truck payment.
Only euro's say shit like this. Trucks are the best overall daily drivers you can buy. They're comfy, quick, practical and affordable. Nothing else on the market compares.
How's that post-purchase rationalization working for you, buddy?
Good goy, that $100,000 truck was a wise investment decision. Just think of how much your neighbours will envy you this year until they buy next years model.
Don’t worry though, the year after that we will gladly give you a fair trade in price for the 24 model. It’s going to have a bigger grille, bigger rims and higher belt line. You’ll be the biggest man in the neighbourhood.
That truck can tow a landscaping trailer which will make you more than your IT degree does.
>buy vehicle with bed
>make bed unuseable
>JUST TOW A TRAILER BRO
>doesn’t actually work a trade or outdoors
>doesn’t actually haul or tow
the absolute state of mutt LARPers
How do you know they don't tow? Even if they don't name a better sedan. You can't.
>manual labor
ok retard have fun with the spics and nogs
lol, it's the pencilpusher jobs the ones full of diversity hires
Have fun being a gardener dude, maybe some day I'll hire you
You don't need a truck to tow shit.
That 100k truck makes for a great write off for taxes in your gutter cleaning business. Run the truck till your depreciation curve works the best and buy new to avoid shit breaking and costing money.
>practical
show me where you keep your groceries and how you load/unload them in a truck. tell me again how this is practical?
pickup is the least practical vehicle platfor ever made for a daily driver.
t. pickup owner
I lift up the back seats (or just half of them) and treat the back row like a gigantic trunk.
You'd be better off with a minivan tbh.
Gay truck, sorry. What "truck stuff" are you doing with a bed that short?
>show me where you keep your groceries and how you load/unload them in a truck
You put them in the back of the truck or get a toneau cover for the bed. What type of faggy "pickup" do you drive?
enter 2 kids, your gf(male) and mother-in-law, its a daily driver and family car right? then show me the process again, step by step.
ill be waiting....
???
exactly.
shit practicality compared to any wagon, van or suv.
You you're right we should all drive wagons and get gay married.
holy shit the amount of cope
I want to defend you but you really are retarded.
Care to expand on that? All that is true.
Trucks are in no way the best daily drivers.
They are which is why they're the best selling vehicles in the world.
They're the best selling vehicle because mexicans have work to do. Most popular doesn't mean best.
The average truck sale price is around $50k. Beaners are buying the $30k base models.
It is. If only around 25% are actually used for "truck things" that means the other 75% are grocery getters. When that 75% is more than some brands sales combined that tells you something.
What cars tow 7000lbs comfortably and safely?
Thats great dude they're still buying them. Were talking quantity. I dont give a shit about your luxury $110,000 ram your nonexistent wife uses to take the kids to soccer practice. No company is outfitting fleet sedans. They're buying trucks (non-commuter) and they're wearing them out enough to buy more.
>If only around 25%
Show us some stats instead of pulling it out of your gaping asshole plz
lol that is not why they are best selling
Why do you "people" think trucks aren't terrible as anything other than work vehicles?
trucks are great all rounders for everything except old tight european city streets
Try getting an elk or moose into your hatchback homosexual
its actually easier this way, you cant tilt your truck bed down to ground level and pull the moose straight into it nor does it have the size and weight capability.
That's roadkill salvage.
I've seen hunters have to quarter their kill on a hillside just to get it down to the valley floor on foot.
You're not getting that trailer into 98% of hunting areas.
I'm not some retard that thinks you need a truck every time you leave the house.
I can put (20) 10 foot 2x4's into my camry and close the trunk. I can also put 900 pounds of livestock feed (in 50 pound bags) in the trunk.
But atleast be honest.
A 4x4 pickup is much better suited for the job than a shitbox with a trailer.
thats two grown european elk, aka elg aka moose, hunted not driven over. a tiny bit smaller than their american brothers but of good size anyway.
dont know about you guys but here when we need to go somewhere regulary we build a road, and if there is no road you are absolutely not getting around in a fullsize pickup it will be bogged in the first swamp never to be seen again.
we use a mix of 6x6 and muskeg to retrieve our elg's if we dont need to part them and walk out, when out just throw them on a trailer and drive off.
i been farming all my life and father into hunting, never once have anyone i know used a pickup for that, yeah dad even borrowed mine a few times but how the fuck would they go about lifting 400kg one meter up to get it into its bed? just winch it into a trailer instead.
>I can also put 900 pounds of livestock feed (in 50 pound bags) in the trunk.
>But atleast be honest.
nagger, you're the one who's not being honest here. That's 18 bags of feed. I don't think even a Crown Victoria could do that.
You are correct about the trailer on hunting area roads though.
I live in North Carolina. I assure you, everybody who does this is on the back half of whatever bell curve you can put them on.
It's sad how the truck threads always derail into European versus American shit flinging. As an American who's driven in europe, I understand why the vehicles are different. And anyone who has spent enough time in either place can understand. Space is nearly never a problem in america. The roads are wide, the parking spaces are wide, the parking lots are expansive, there's just more room for everything in general, and the roads are no exception. So we buy vehicles to match. Also we don't pay out the ass for petrol like the rest of the Civilized World tends to, so buying a pickup truck that you don't fully utilize but a few times a year if ever is no big deal. You just get what you want generally. I daily a V8 camaro and my commute is 45 miles one way. Is that efficient? No. Does it make my heart happy when I can go from 6th to 3rd and give it the beans after I pass the last town heading across the state line? Absolutely. I even average 24.5 miles a gallon. The American who lives outside the city knows a level of Freedom the European will never. And it makes me sad, honestly.
(18) 50 pound bags is the max in my 2004 camry (no spare tire). That's just the trunk.
100% legit.
I used to drive my truck into town but when gas hit $4 a gallon I decided to see what the camry could handle.
Have you ever dealt with a 50 pound bag of feed? Its less than 8" thick.
How big is a camry trunk?
How many bags are on a pallet?
Fuel in America is “cheap” because you aren’t factoring in the trillions of dollars of loans from china you took out to fund endless wars in the Middle East.
Because ladder frame vehicles are not compliant, and any truck that's decent at towing and is diesel is gonna vibrate like a mofo.
More euro cope lol. The ride quality of the higher end trucks is on par with the ride quality of the European luxury sedans. Even 3/4 and one ton trucks ride smoother than a lot of the the euro shit larping as "sporty". Our diesels don't vibrate like your diesels.
Why do people think forks can only be eating utensils?
They look cringe, like you're larping as a tough labourer but you probably can't even bench 2pl8s due to your limp wrists
Well, I guess Americans turned farm equipment into entertainers so anything's possible
>shittier interior than a camry
I don't really have a problem with it not being used as a work vehicle so much as that I fucking hate the wigger/beaner instigram styling cues
This thread gets posted every day multiple times a day. Are these even real posters responding or is it bots replying to bots? We may never know.
Imagine bots on LULZ.... the most dead board on the site lmfao
not even close to the deadest board. LULZ has like 5 posts per day.
All me btw
what is it about pickup trucks that makes /n/iggers seethe so much?
Yuppies LARPing as people good with their hands that do a real job.
Only in the south. Most yuppies buy regular cars.
You have people who have hobbies that require towing or hauling and people who are in such dire straits that they think it is a larp to own a dirt bike or a boat.
Ironically the drivers that use trucks as trucks the most are first time drivers.
Ford has surveys on what customers use their trucks for.
They found that Lighting owners were more likely to use the truck as a truck, because over 90% of buyers were first time buyers.
So basically all the EV tourists went >“WOW it’s a TRUCK” and then took it camping, threw muddy stuff in the bed, and basically did whatever kind of truck stuff they could come up with.
I'm not against trucks or lifts - I drive a 5th gen Ranger and plan on a small lift to clear 33"s (like pic related) - but I've never understood the Florida man scaffolding lift rubber band tires bullshit like the OP pic either. Function aside it's just ugly and tacky as fuck.
>So basically all the EV tourists went >“WOW it’s a TRUCK” and then took it camping, threw muddy stuff in the bed, and basically did whatever kind of truck stuff they could come up with.
I guess that's kinda me too. My Ranger's my first truck after almost 20 years of sporty cars and I've been going out of my way to do truck shit with it as much as possible.
Shit, forgot the pic.
as a euro i fucking love NA ranger look, euro one look retarded
Yeah I've never understood the plastic front ends of foreign trucks. It's particularly weird to me because people are way more likely to use those trucks for actual work or off roading in Europe/Asia/Australia and yet they design them in a way that makes them way more susceptible to damage and way more of a pain in the ass to fix.
I actually saw a Euro-style Ranger the other day, Mexican plates so I guess they sell them there, sadly I wasn't able to park near it and get a pic 'cause I'm not sure anybody's ever gotten one with the NA and global Rangers side by side.
Everyone in Australia immediately adds a front bar and lights setup, so there’s no reason to put a giant blinged out tough guy grille like in America
>so there’s no reason to put a giant blinged out tough guy grille like in America
Except for it being illegal.
NA and Australian/Euro grilles are almost identical though, maybe even the same part. The difference is that NA models have a separate metal bumper below the grille so it's more durable and you don't need to replace the whole front end if you do manage to damage it, plus a lot of models have black or grey bumpers that you can easily find pre-painted instead of having to get a color match done. It also means you can easily bolt on aftermarket bumpers instead of having to chop up the front end or put bars over the stock one.
Yeah, as mentioned the front and rear bumpers are metal, hard to tell because they're almost always painted though. It's more obvious with the chrome package. (Which IMO is awful.)
is there less plastic on the na ranger compare to the regular version? just asking. nothing more sad than rusted bumpers if you ask me and i live in saltland. rather have plastic then.
i would have considered a lightning if the tow range was more than 90 miles
Super Duty is so based.
No other car makes tesloids and displacelets seethe to the same degree.
Aren't these cars becoming popular with naggers?
WHO FUCKING CARES
do the people that actually do this talk about it as much as leddítors on LULZ ? I doubt it
Cute pavement princess, my wife's boyfriend got one for me. I get to assert my dominance while my wife stays at home.
>tfw cruise around in my near 30 year old S10
Ayyyyy
I have a hard time not using truck beds as parts catch-alls and getting 2wds hopelessly stuck, but I've got 0 problem keeping sedans immaculate and not doing stupid shit with them. I have some sort of abuse justification mentality when it comes to trucks...
>>Why do Americans do this?
It's a distraction, because if they spent it on something else, we'd be in the Ace Combat timeline where white people develop recreational superweapons for fun.
>modify it to be unable to do any work
this truck looks like it's been modified for show but it can still do work.
The point of buying a truck is to get PUSSY
Good commercials. It's because of our frontier spirit and Protestant work ethic. Even if we don't have those things we think we're supposed to so we larp as people who could build a homestead and haul away the trees.
Because cars are american religeon and to say anything bad about them is blasphemy.
White boys be like: "I need a 3/4 ton truck for work"
Meanwhile Mexicans doing actual work:
Never liked that nagger wagon look. Trucks are supposed to have meaty sidewalls.
>Trucks are supposed to have meaty sidewalls.
That's what's really ridiculous about nu-trucks, is how low pro the optional tires can be, the stock 65 sidewall on 20s looks pretty beefy compared to a car, but there was a time where truck tires were an 85 sidewall profile, the things were fucking tough, and there was a time not long ago where economy cars had a 65-70 sidewall profile on their little 14-15 inch wheels
Basically new things bad once again, they're selling us less tire for more money.
