Watching this in the theater was a wonderful experience. There were about a dozen exclusively white boomer couples who oohed and aahed quiestly at the appropriate moments, and the men were quietly mansplaining things to the women and the women were perfectly fine with it because all these people have been married for many years and they've matured to the point where they put up with each other's foibles.

based on what I'm reading Jon Ronson really seems to be the type I'm looking for. almost a literary werner herzog. know any other similar authors? i liked richard prestons the hot zone which is kinda similar

Get a new keyboard poorgay. You don’t even need a newfangled piece of tech just any old one will do. It still works

this seems neat, on the list

      Excellent book.

huh, a friend gave this to me a while ago, but i didn't think i would like it. i'll give it another look soon

      Non fiction?

But as a recommendation, I liked The Confident Hope of a Miracle

yes, but non fiction that, i guess, isn't painfully dry like the history books i read in school. stuff that's more about the wonder of the event itself rather than the recitation of cold facts a la herzog's docs

Sir, first start by renouncing this Black person speak.
But on topic, read Carl Sagan's 'Cosmos'. And Dawkin's 'Self Gene'.
