Anyone here have one? Can I stack a GM employee discount, the fed rebate and a commifornia rebate. Would this be worth looking into or are they shit?

The only reason I'm thinking about it is because GM has a stake in my lab so I get an employee discount

My beloved OP, why would you consult some shut in teenagers on such an important decision? Are you crazy?

Do it, the saved money can go towards a cooler second car or whatever your hobbies are.

They’re widely respected EVs and the deal you can get on one right now is pretty good for a new car with a warranty.

I think you’ll make out making money off GM

It's a fairly pragmatic decision tbh, car isn't remarkably plush or fast but it nicer than your average 15-yo shitbox and will save you a respectable amount of money monthly on gas after milking it for all of the deals and taxes you can get up front.
It's especially funny if you work really hard at chipping away a sales person to a respectable deal, get that deal in writing, and then whip out the discount at the very end because frick 'em.

Yeah I live I just moved to California so gas prices are horrendous. I'm in an apartment so would this be a deal breaker for EVs? My work has charging stations but I assume I can't charge at my place.

The Chevy Bolt no longer qualifies for the federal tax incentive.
The fast charging is 55kw, slow as molasses so don't buy one for road trips.

      I thought this just changed?

Assuming your work isn't 2 hours away from your home there's a pretty significant chance you can get away with that. Plus it's California there are probably a lot of generic EV chargers tossed around because it makes the business whose land they're on look like they care.

Bolts are cheap. The range is, OK. The worst thing though is the low power DCFC.

Worthy DD, but not for long trips.
