CBT consists of taking a situation and simply wishing way your emotions by deciding not to care. It doesn't resolve anything or make you feel better, just makes you sit there like a pussy assuming it even works in the first place. Also they tend to just give you bad advice since their job is to fence-sit so they're too afraid to give you any help that might actually get you anywhere because if it fails you're gonna drop them and there goes a portion of their income. These people are frauds, see a psychologist and get meds but therapy is just a waste of money.

Nta but I have health anxiety. I know it's unjustified but the panic attacks still don't stop. CBT never worked for me.
Depends on what you mean by "therapy".
A "psychotherapist" is not the same as a psychologist. Only the latter is legitimate.
A psychologist is not a psychiatrist, only the latter is a medical doctor.
What each can and can't help with is different from the others.
If you're gay they can't cure you
If you refuse to drop your dipshit delusions they can't help
If you have really, really bad anxiety they are useless
Therapy involves change. Change is scary and painful. Therapy can't help if you fight against change.
