Been stressed, bad mood, tired and no willpower - how do I gain willpower to do better?
I used to be like that, but have lost it past couple of years.

this is not the advice board you fucking gorilla
somewhere along the line you lose track and decay sets in. The fatigue can tell you what's wrong. Sometimes your inner is tired for good reason and just grinding away by being busy doesn't address the root problem. For me a big turnoff was a bunch of unmotivated folk who just dissapointed in terms of effort and cool works. When I moved on up and found a better team dynamic that brought a lot of energy too.
Willpower is both something you train and something you must nurture and set the conditions for allowing it to bloom. Try to look at the systems that surround you and classify which eat your time, give you stress and which ones take it away. Sometimes you can have a mess in a room that accumulates because something else isn't organized. Maybe investing in automating or better dealing with some chores will pay off.
Make it easier for willpower to come around.
>Willpower is both something you train and something you must nurture and set the conditions for allowing it to bloom.
Well said, it's just vicious circle when you lose that willpower and get lazy to nurture it or creating environment where it can bloom.
I was hoping to find some ways to deal with it when you already have lost most of it since all above still requires some discipline and willpower to begin with.
The economy is fucked and I'm barely hanging here which puts huge pressure on me having family of 5, soon 6.
While I welcome all kind of advice, I was hoping to find some esoteric ways to deal with this issue. I think semen retention, fasting and even meditation could be helpful, but where to get that initial power to actually do any of these? And it's not that easy when you've lost it - for example I used to be able to do anything I decided, quit smoking/drinking completely 5 years ago after being heavy smoker/drinker. Now I'm just fucking tired and it's tough to even decide not to eat all the time.
Anon. I'm
. I hear what you are saying. Dryfasting is unique in that it is easier to do than wet fasting. It also requires you slow down and stay home, so use it as a retreat of sorts. When I feel the way you are feeling, a day of dry fasting followed by a day or two of wet fasting is incredible. Even just one day dry will do wonders. Refeeding a dryfast, you need to start with a tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water followed by a glass of water every hour through the day. SIP on the water. Drink it slowly. DO NOT CHUG. Good to put some squeezed lemon juice in a glass or two at some point during the refeeding. A liver cleanse will do you well, Filonov explains how. The NAC Protocol will help you find some motivation after a time. If you use the dryfasted state to explore your spirituality, then it can be a strong motivator. I personally love dryfasting now. It has become my cure all. It is such an effective way to heal, but YOU MUST DO YOUR RESEARCH.
The answer is fasting. Your body accumulates wastes abd toxins, stores them away and they sit until it has a chance to deal with them. Fasting is how you deal with them. Digestive system monopolizes the resource pool so these systems of waste and toxin removal slow down or stop entirely. Stop eating to let your body divert resources from the digestion so it can run the clean-up protocol. A bit like an analogy to music: the rest is very important and you cannot make music without the rests.
During the fast you will experience ups and downs, but generally you will feel like crap until you've cleared yourself out. Once you've finished the fast, you will experience the positive effects, but it is dependent on what you eat and how you refeed. Refeeding is 70% of the healing effect. Filonov defines refeeding, I can't remember how to calculate it off the top of my head. Read Filonov 20 Questions About Dry Fasting and August Dunning. Dry fasting is an advanced technique. Fasting in general csn be dangerous. Take it slow and ease yourself into it. You can kill yourself by gorging on food after a fast. Intermittent fasting is a good place to start. Then water fasting. Then dry fasting. You need to do your own research and learn about it or you can fuck yourself up.
After fasting, you should try the NAC Protocol using unfiltered apple cider vinegar during meals to build up a strong gut biome. Remember that energy and clarity of mind is directly related to the gut. Drugs are not a sustainable solution. Only good gut health and a clean body is.
Just push yourself. Go do the things you know you need to do.
read Nietzsche, unironically.
Pls elaborate. I'm not OP but I never have the energy to even take a bath or get a haircut, you know shit that no one struggles with. Something has to give at this point.
trauma. the body stores trauma. your irrational brain has control and needs to be exercised.
How do I exercise it? Why is my subconscious working against me?
>Prisoner: Man I've been in such a bad mood lately. I'm tired and have no will to go on.
>Escapees: That's normal because you don't belong here, come and escape with us.
>Prisoner: Nah, just help me feel better inside my cage. Help me have the will to continue being a prisoner.
maybe you place it in the wrong place? instead to place your willpower into the current world focus on you inner being.
time better invested in that way.
