Carhartt WIP does a few brighter colours, but at higher cost. They’re literally the same hecking beanie too. It’s a bit of a grift but I like Carhartt gear.

Is there a reliable website that selling Army surplus stuff online that can send stuff overseas? I noticed a lot of good and/or cool stuff that’s reliable and not easily rip.
Also what’s the best army suplus stuff, US army? European army?
Generally all I look for is a completely unbranded single color, knit beanie without the inner fleece lining. I like to be able to flip the edges up a bit in order to be able to wear it normally or as a fisherman’s beanie. You would think these wouldn’t be very hard standards to fill, but it’s difficult to find a decent beanie like that. Luckily I have two, one in amber and one in a dark blue and those are the two colors that work best for beanies imo.
this is called a toque and the best ones are the ones your grandma makes. well mine anyway.
and the pom ball when it hangs on a string helps hold the toque back in your hood to keep it from sliding down past your eyes

on the west coast there are lots of us psychedelic people who are also blue collar
Marshalls has some sub $15 beanies that are actually pretty good quality, adidas and ’47 sports ones
I just buy 100% wool watch caps from the army surplus store for $8 and replace them when they wear out.
