I am trying to get into Vivaldi right now. I love the customization but It seems like a full time job to get it in a state I am happy with for some reason. I use Brave Browser right now, and It is fine as my main. I would still like to make Vivaldi like FF3.6 was back in the day, and I think I can. I only worry about how it will handle the websites, lolOpera was a stickler that did not give a fuck.
I use vivaldi, I barely customize anything aside from mucking a little bit with the theme and it's much better than chrome (which i still use because I ran opera 12 into the ground and half the sites didn't work on it so i used chrome for them)
This test is largely dependent on your hardware, so certain browsers may be more optimized and less. My old PC gets the best speeds from Brave but my friend's newer PC gets Chrome as the fastest
Of course. No pragmatic reason exists not to. Autism is not to be confused with pragmatism.
I use multiple browsers, mostly Chrome and Firefox, there is no reason not to as there is no reason not to use Windows and Linux versions which support tools I use, for example Windows on a notebook for LS ECU flashing using OBDX dongles.
I pay for none of it so why not? I do what serves ME.
who started that fucking trend with space in between tabs and the next bar
naggerfox did it too and now i ahve to use a custom userchrome to fix it whenever i reinstall
that doesn't bother me in the slightest. What grins my gears is when in linux there's a space between the tab and the top end of the screen and you have to be more precise when clicking on tabs. That shit is a crime
I've stuck with Firefox all these years simply because it still has the coolest logo. It also happens to be the best browser (with hardening) but that's secondary.
not at the moment
I use chrome exclusively for porn and honorlock.
No.
I'm using you mother.
Brave
So you're using Chrome
>Forked Chromium = Chrome
Same reply, different day. Sigh.
No. Using FF. Chrome a shit.
No, not really. I use Firefox.
>Look everyone, I avoided Chrome and use something just as terrible.
what is terrible about it
>he *doesn't* use Firefox
>not using waterfox
Okay, anon. But what the fuck is that window corner? Kek. Is this the power of Linux or are you just using a shitty GNOME theme?
Can't you tell it' s theme retard? It's on both sides.
>chrome but i dont have to deal with googles advert autism
meant for
Looks like the Safari 12 design.
>bitwarden
So have you gotten hacked yet?
why would he be?
Yes it's comfy
Fire fox nightly for me
I use Chrome like a decent human being and have a Gmail account.
no you dont
>like a decent human being
lmao what planet does that apply on?
I use Microsoft Edge on Microsoft's Windows, and I use Google Chrome on Google's Android.
I installed it an hour ago, how did you know.
No.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Google Chrome is the only nontrivial software that works.
No, I'm white.
firefox + arkenfox + strict firewall + 100 line user-overrides config
>using the firefox ""fork"" which is only prefs & branding changes, which also has multiple trans maintainers
lol, lmao
I am not.
Yeah, ungoogled chromium.
i'm not, and it's never been my main browser
internet explorer and windows 7 here
Fuck chrome, fuck web environment integrity, fuck the spyware ironically named privacy sandbox, and fuck naggers.
How did you know?
Do any of you homosexuals use vivaldi and other esoteric browsers as your primary? What's your experience like?

was using that in uni when my laptop can't handle regular browser. good for writing my thesis, i even still have its userdata
sorry, I use a superior browser
I'm pretty sure Brave is the fastest browser as of now, someone on another try this test
browserbench.org/Speedometer2.0
firefox 117
i wish brave had better customization
>206 on chromium
>185 on Librewolf
You fell for le shill lion
you fell for a meme browser
librewolf seems pretty good there though, comparatively
It also allows you to customise the UI, doesn't collect data by default, and doesn't force cryptoshit and unwanted features on you. Pretty comfy.
Some of the default configs can be invasive, needs some tinkering to get to your liking.
i'll take security over tinker troon shit.
I'll take my meme browser over your cryptoshit anyday.
I like having the option to choose. You might like stuff being forced on you though, to each their own.
I'll take security over tinker troon shit.

>comparing browsers using different hardware
If you count Opera or Kiwi as Chrome, then yes
Vanadium on my phone, but I'm considering using Fennec (Firefox) instead.
Nope. Never. Not even brave
Where do you turn on/off the feature that lets you see the memory usage when you hover over a tab (under the preview thumbnail)?
Brave is the only sane choice.
On chrome i cant watch youtube with Adblocker, if i use edge with ublock origins i can watch yt so thats what im doing rn
Why don't you watch ads or pay for YouTube Premium Plus?
because i do not like google and i don't know why you shill for them for free
because people here are jobless. look at what site youre on.
Hell no. And it seems Cloudshit's verification autism hates that fact again.
yes
Yes im using Brave and Vandium because FF is shit
i use firefox cus it gets the job done and somebody needs to support an alternative rendering engine to slow down google cucking
Of course. No pragmatic reason exists not to. Autism is not to be confused with pragmatism.

What the hell are you talking about?
this shit
Chromium doesn't have that.
that doesn't bother me in the slightest. What grins my gears is when in linux there's a space between the tab and the top end of the screen and you have to be more precise when clicking on tabs. That shit is a crime
KDE doesn't have this problem.
Yeah it depends on the distribution. I think mint used to have this problem. I no longer use linux so I don't know if they've 'fixed it'
Firefox scores higher than chrome in
https://browserbench.org/Speedometer2.1/
I've stuck with Firefox all these years simply because it still has the coolest logo. It also happens to be the best browser (with hardening) but that's secondary.
Why would you use regular chrome when you can use microsoft chrome or ad free chrome.
Firefox has always been better and I will never switch to chromium
>Firefox has always been better
Nope, they stopped being good the moment they fired their CEO for donating to anti-gays.
No.
Thanks, but I'm still sticking with Furryfox.
b&rp!
For me, it's Waterfox.
For me, it's picrel.
>Be honest
What makes you think people are lying about using Firefox?
t. Firefox user
im using ungoogled chromium with 4get.ca as my default search engine its pretty goood
i accidentally clicked on your shit site
it's good when image and scripts are blocked
ungoogled chromium won't let me post. I click on "Get Captcha" and it says "Your browser is out of date!" and then just never loads the damn thing.
Arkenfox is the way and the truth and the life.
Only at work
No, but it is pretty good. I'm using Arc, btw.
honestly firefox sucks compared to chromium, you don't notice all the little issues with it until you try to replace chromium with it
safari
Brave and degoogled chromium
For me, it's the best macOS browser
Nope, safari
