God this board sucks. Why does anybody wear anything with a band, show, or game reference on it? Why do people buy stickers and pins? You wear the band shirt because you want people to recognize it and chat about the band. I wear a Ween shirt to every show I go to because there’s always one of those fuckers at a concert and I want to talk to them about shows they’ve seen. One dude even smoked me out for a whole show because of my shirt.
Stop being afraid of people, especially those who share a common passion with you.
I like wearing t-shirts.. but colour blocking too much as a dude weird. Some band shirts (it is rare) have really good designs, too. I don't like cheap, shitty, normie band shirts, or try hard dipshit shirts, but there is a sweet middle ground where you have a genuinely cool shirt that shouts out a band you like. And that my friends, is worthwhile.
>ITT homosexual with an entire folder of black men saved to their computer just so they can bait people
Obsessed.
Anyways, it's just a shirt, who gives a shit?
This. They gossip like stuck up whores. >"Ew, I can't believe he's wearing a BAND SHIRT LMFAO INCEL".
Fuck off back to another site. Low-quality shit like this should be removed from the catalog.
It's ludicrous. One has to wonder if people here truly care about music. It's never about music. It's always about the people who listen to music or the imaginary person who listens to music that they make up in their minds
I don't buy clothes often and my mom and uncles have gotten me a few band shirts over the years. I've bought shirts at shows to support the band too, sometimes if I've pirated a lot of their music and end up loving it I'll take a look at their merch. I'd buy this shirt even without text on it
I wear them as a fashion, and only if I genuinely truly like the music (and the article of clothing looks nice)That being said, I own only 5 pieces of merchandise which I regularly wear.
I really despise using band shirts as a social signal. I have met 1-2 people who have actual good taste in music whom I'd have not known otherwise had they not worn a t-shirt of the band they liked, but it's so common to see people, although good intentioned, wearing the merchandise of a band that they don't fully love that I feel this war towards it.
>cute girl at gig recognised my really obscure band shirt and knew the drummer personally
it's the little things man. if it doesn't look fucking awful then why not wear them
Because ...
FUCK YOU, YOU MOTHERFUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!
YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME, homosexual?
WELL, DO YA?
I'LL FUCKING KICK YOUR FUCKING ASS ANY TIME, ANYWHERE, YOU SORRY PIECE OF SHIT!
DON'T YOU EVER TELL ME WHAT I CAN WEAR, OR WHAT I CAN'T WEAR!
IF I WANT TO WEAR A T-SHIRT OF MY FAVORITE BAND, I'M GOING TO, AND IF YOU TRY TO STOP ME, YOU WON'Y SEE TOMORROW!
THINK I'M FUCKING AROUND?
JUST SHOW UP HERE, AND FIND OUT HOW FAST YOU MEET SATAN!
COME AT ME! I DARE YOU!
>>inb4 "I'm just trying to spread word about my favorite band, dood!"
this and >looks cool >bands say they make a better percentage from merch than the actual music so i'll buy a shirt to support and at that point you might as well wear it
and the social aspect, it's fun to check what bands other people listen to too
if i was insecure i wouldn't wear band shirts because i would be self-conscious about my taste in music and being judged for it. did you think about that, you stupid fucking retard? probably not.
I don't wear band shirts because I don't want people to associate my favorites with me unless I am looking good and enviable, in which case I wouldn't be wearing a t-shirt. Look at how many people are turned off of a band because their fans all look obnoxious. I don't want to associate music with the fans at all. Musicians repping their favorite stuff while on stage or in interviews etc is cool though
I wear them because they are obscure bands that I'm autistic about and I want to see someone in public who recognizes them.
If I wore band shirts and was autistic that would be the last thing I would want to have happen to me.
Yeah I'm autistic but I want to infodump my autism on others
Autistic people don't have to be socially anxious
This, I stopped wearing band shirts because I didn't like people asking me about them
Hipsters ruin everything

How about you back up your retarded opinion with an argument instead of tainting this board with another bullshit autismo thread
this whole board acts like either homosexuals or women making assumptions

Past a certain age a man wearing a graphic t-shirt can be a bad thing.
if i was insecure i wouldn't wear band shirts because i would be self-conscious about my taste in music and being judged for it. did you think about that, you stupid fucking retard? probably not.
