Balding
I need some advice looksmaxing, not sure if this is the right place for that. But I’ve been lifting for 2 years, changed my wardrobe, got better fitting clothes, cleaned up my beard style, followed the general advice on here about outfits.
However, I am balding, my hair at the top is much thinner than every where else. Unless i use a bunch of gel, or wear a hat, my hair brings my entire aesthetic down like 2 points. Not sure how to fix this, should I just shorten it everywhere else from the sides and back to appear fuller on the top?
Anyone deal with this?
Shave it all off. You might think you look ugly, but there’s actual research suggesting that people will take you more seriously and view you as an authority figure.

it looks off because balding is a mature trait. a full head of hair is the sign of a young man. you can still look good but you need to reorient your look to a more mature image

I used to take min, but i heard it depletes collagen. And getting a transplant means I’d need to start fin, dont want to castrate myself for hair.
I am dermarolling and will start rosemary oil (comparable to min apparently).

Fwiw I started fin 1mg every morning about a year ago and I’ve had literally zero side effects.
I think the internet gives a false impression of how frequent side effects are because people don’t tend to go to forums to talk about how everything is fine.
I’ve been using topical fin+ min for a month now after having sides with dutasteride and I’m having zero side effects, you should give it a try
i’ve been on fin for two months now with no sides thankfully. 0.5mg every day. Wish i started sooner but thankfully caught it early enough
Is 0.5mg enough?
The doses people are on seem almost random, I’ve seen guys get prescribed anything from 0.3mg daily up to 1.5mg daily and there never seems to be a reason for the specific dose.

people get prescribed different doses due to how bad their hair is, how well they respond to it, and to avoid side effects
Yes, I was also scared of potential side effects so my dermatologist said i could start out with .5 mg every day and so far no side effects as mentioned previously so i will stick to this
Can anyone tell me how fast can you go back into the world after a transplant? I know the hair needs a year to grow out but what I am asking is about the scarring and the swelling.
I want to get one but I work as an attorney so I am extremely visible and I can’t take a few weeks off of work.

There is only one way to deal with balding, everything else is cope and it’s called Finasteride. Even if you want to a hair transplant no surgeons will accept you as a patient if you haven’t been on FInasteride for 1 year. Obviously everyone in the thread is gaslighting you the same way they tell pretty boys on tiktok with middle parts to get buzzcuts, crabs in a bucket mentality.
