I think hemp is kinda gay and hemp bags look way uglier than leather, but what alternative are there that aren’t going to burn my arm?

      • Anonymous says:

This looks nice, but doesn’t the leather get hot?

Yeah. I’m looking for something lighter and thiner. I think chest bags look better than cross bags.

good luck dealing with scratches and moisurizing

Scuffs and wear only make a good looking leather bag nicer.
If you don’t want that you obviously wouldn’t get a leather bag.

bumping for interest, I hate having to carry all of my stuff in the little pocket space I have. Honestly just something to hold my phone, wallet, keys, and earbuds is enough

No, but I use a Helikon Tex Numbat chestbag for hiking to not keep tons of shit in my pockets (I do some fishing and bushcraft on the side) that I need quick access too also helps shift the weight from the back.

its the big thing among school aged zoomers. my nephews are varsity and all the boys have them or something close.

The heck is this? Do people wear this where you live?

You never seen these? Was popular for a minute last year, and always useful for filming

where can I find a good quality one of these?
needs to be black, around 10"x7". preferably no bigger
I just want it to carry my ipad air and e-reader when I go for walks, and then regular stuff like wallet, phone, keys, headphones. maybe something with internal dividers and elastic pouches to avoid bouncing?
          any recs?

Give it to me straight, how autistic would i look if i wore this to work

            https://i.imgur.com/DKa6Q5P.jpg

If you wear a layer over it I think these would look way better.

          • Anonymous says:

You would have a massive imprint that would look stupid. Would need to see an image but even removing your items from the bag would also look stupid cause youd have to lift your shirt all the way. Unless its a zip up sweater

          • Anonymous says:

I was thinking more along the lines of an unbuttoned puffer jacket, or an overshirt, "maybe" a wider fitting car coat or thicker parka if you want to wear it closed and not have that imprint

          • Anonymous says:

gq magazine suggests that you wear a trench coat at all times as it is not manly to carry a bag

this looks nice, but looks a bit bulky for shorter outings, dont get me wrong being able to carry over ear/flask is a nice too. might think about getting one of these

      >Because it’s summer time and we can’t carry all our shit in our pockets.
      it’s either
      >you’re carrying too much useless shit
      >you’re dressing wrong
      anyway, you’re a gay

      >something to hold my phone, wallet, keys, and earbuds is enough
      so, a pocket?
don’t tell me you fell for the girl size over 5.5-inches meme phone

      • Anonymous says:

Have you seen the size of phones these days? You cannot buy a phone under 6 or 7 inches. It is easy to carry in a jean/trouser pocket with the added structure but in light summer shorts it is a nightmare. I always use my jacket pockets the rest of the year but use picrel from ikea during summer to hold kindle, phone, wallet, keys, earphones, pills and sunglasses case.

        >don’t tell me you fell for the girl size over 5.5-inches meme phone
Good luck finding a modern phone that’s under 5.5".
They have only been getting bigger and bigger over the recent years, it’s kind of absurd now.
I was looking into a new phone recently and my old S9+ with it’s 5.9" or whatever is considered small nowadays.

        • Anonymous says:

Xperia Z5 compact is the only phone that used to fit my needs perfectly, shame they don’t make similar ones now with better specs even the "compact" phones are the size of flagship shovels that were out few years back.

          • Anonymous says:

Get a pixel 5 instead, it’s SLIGHTLY (as in barely noticeable) bigger than an 4a but as long as you have man sized hands it’s pretty small

          • Anonymous says:

Sooner or later you will have to decide between a ~70$ battery replacement or buying a new phone.
When you can find much newer more poweful phones for 100$ pretty easily that’s not the hardest decision in the world.

Does anyone have some recommendations for a "smarter" bag with plenty of compartments and organizing features?
I like this one (pic is of it too) but it looks a bit too "techwear" for my tastes

      • Anonymous says:

Only options I know of are either techwear or tacticool stuff like 5.11 or Vanquest, which is like techwear but also tells everyone you have an M&P shield at 4 o’clock in an uncle mikes leather holster

Any anons have the fjallraven ulvo? Looks like a good bag, but the logo in the middle makes it kinda cringe.

    • Anonymous says:

It’s a classic logo and a classic brand. That being said all my Fjällräven bags have stitched on logos so you could just remove them with a seam ripper.

This might legit be the worst outfit I´ve seen all year. What the heck is that vest?

That being said, in winter, I have a small, leather crossover bodybag because it fits my winter style.

In summer I use a more modern one made from truck tarp because it at least somehow fits what I wear…but since I really can´t figure out how to look good in summer, that´s just an intermediate solution.

  4. Anonymous says:

get a backpack that matches your ‘style’
it doesn’t have to be huge, but it should be a quality bag.
    both hands will be free.
cross-body, sling, shoulder, messenger bags are a pain to actually use.

Been using a 5.11 Rush 24 in double tap color nearly every single day for about 7+ years now from hauling ridiculous loads to just using it as a laptop and book backpack. I go with it everywhere from work to travel I don’t use it when I need to go somewhere more formal so I use a small black leather satchel. Ridiculously durable the only thing thing that I needed to fix was the main compartment zipper pull tab. In easter yuropoor countries they are not associated with tacticool LARP’ing or other cringe because many people buy them for work so never had any problems in that regard.

i hate having a bag/slingbag dangling around so i use a running belt to carry my phone, wallet, keys and ecig. It’s austitic but i can put it under my shirt

  7. Anonymous says:

Ive been debating on buying one…but not sure what I would even put in it. Bag bros what do carry in your bags?

    • Anonymous says:

I always carry my phone, wallet, keys, swiss army knife, and some pocket tissues
Depending on where I’m headed and what the weather is like I also have a powerbank+cable, my Kindle, some Neutrogena face wipes, and a small water bottle with me

Phone, wallet, keys, powerbank, pocket knife, cough drops, cigarettes and lighter, some band aids, tissues, and a flask with water

Anytime someone carried a bag like this was because it had their papers, weed, and grinder in it in my experience

    gayest thread of /fashion/
why do you need a purse? are you a woman?
why would you carry anything more than: phone, keys, wallet?
if you need to carry something bigger like a laptop use a regular backpack

I have one of these from Knomo, could do without the logo but otherwise I really like it

If all you want is the optimal size/price ratio just get a huge ass plastic tote bag from your local convenience store for 50cts.

      • Anonymous says:

I don’t know that brand but glancing over their website it looks like they are sourced and handmade in the EU.
95€ is pretty reasonable for presumably high quality designer bags.

Yeah I can. And if any of yall can’t then man up and quit being a pussy. You aren’t a "man".
