Why do girls clothes look so soft?

Cont. From last thread. I'm a 24 year old virgin who's afraid of getting intimate with girls due to the risks involved. What do I do to get over it?

Accept that you are going to die. You will eventually be dead. Why waste your life worrying about trivial bullshit. If you really love a girl, you will also love her sexually transmitted diseases.

What "risks" do you fear? I can empathise but it's mostly just in your head and social anxiety I think. Instead of worrying about sex right away why not start with smaller steps/goals to get over the physical intimacy fear? e.g. next time you're out with someone or on a date try to sit closer to them if they're responding well and touch their arm/waist etc.

Personally, no. I've never had a girl I wanted to kiss reject my kiss. But I've had girls tell me afterwards that whilst they enjoyed the kiss and whatever else we had done that night that they don't want to continue down that path.
I just tell them no worries I and thank them for being so upfront. Then I just go back to treating them like normal, just pretend it never happened. I'm not emotionally invested in them that much so I don't feel it as a big loss.If they didn't want to be my friend again I would be more upset or if they just ghosted me or if I had been seeing them for a while.

Guys, if a coworker came in on a Monday and mentioned she feels like shit, and when you asked why she stupidly mentioned she's hungover as fuck, would you assume a ton of negative things about her?

I wouldn't assume tons of negative things but to me it's a reasonable negative since I don't like party girls which is what I would associate with it. But if it's a once off, I could just let it pass.

Yikes, one does not simply become "asexual" like this; guy is probably mentally ill and repressing trauma, has he gotten any help?
      >he's out of shape
Does he work out? What's his diet like? That should be a priority fixing too
      >and drunk

Anyway there is a lot to unpack here...
I can understand your frustrations but spiking him with viagra is very sus lol, and doing that instead of just being able to bring it up with him signals communication issues. You don't have to stay with this guy if it's too frustrating but clearly there are issues to resolve here before potentially developing a healthy sex life on top of that.

    To the girls:

It always feels like girls move on way quicker and have an easier time adjusting after breakups. Have you guys just simply never considered anyone you were together with your soulmate, wanted them to be with you forever, done everything you could and mourned their loss for months and even years on end? Or is that just a masculine thing?

      Anonymous

I'd say I mourned my first (and, so far, only) love for about 18 months, with the relationship itself being only 12, but we broke up right before covid so I think that played a big role in my inertia and nostalgia for the life I'd had right beforehand. Granted, I've moved on my now, and meanwhile said ex is still trying to contact his ex before me from about 6 years prior lel.

I see, thanks for the response. Also, do you ever go back in mind and think about your possible mistakes and what could've been? It's smth I've been struggling with myself so I wanted to ask for some advice :0

          Anonymous

I did for a while, but ever since letting go of romantic feelings for him, I really don't think about it at all. Not even the lifestyle I could have had with him (which was very similar to what I've always dreamed of building for myself. And I actually think is a really good thing, because it confirms that I was genuinely in love with him and our potential, and that I wasn't just dazzled by the idea of skipping ahead in my life goals by coasting off his accomplishments).

The breakup was his decision and all to do with things he was dealing with independently of me/us. He made it clear that it wasn't because of anything I had or hadn't done, it just wasn't gonna work out. And I believe him, we were great to each other. That really confused me at first, because if things were so great then what's the problem, why couldn't we just stay together. But in the time since, the emotion has faded and I've come to see more clearly that we're quite different people and yeah it just wouldn't have worked in the long term.
There's certainly lessons I've taken from it, but no regrets, nothing I'd call a mistake or that I'd say jeopardised us. I'd say I learned that I have to watch out for not allowing myself to disappear into a relationship. I kinda neglected my life outside of him while we were together, and was a bit too eager to learn about him and his life and support him without expecting much in return. I wouldn't say that's a problem though, I was just swept away by normal first love feelings and learning to balance it, you don't just tightrope between two skyscrapers on your first try.
Even in the early days after the breakup, something I kept coming back to for comfort was simply the fact that the experience confirmed I was capable of loving someone, and how fortunate I felt for having been able to experience that, and the fact that I knew I was capable of surviving the pain of losing it. Basically pic related lol.

You don't have to have casual sex then, you can get tested with someone in/going into a relationship. Also so long as you try to communicate, be honest and preferably have some friends around seeing how you interact etc. I think the chances of getting gone for assault is pretty slim.
Also don't be embarrassed about the stretch marks, nothing wrong with that, if they react negatively then consider it a bullet dodged.

She's not my type and she seems like a total brat. Plus leftist women are annoying. Not in the sense that I only go for right wing women, but I wouldn't want to date someone that's politically very active, especially if they're leftist. Just seems like a lot of unnecessary everyday stress and if there's anything I've learned from past bonds, it's to never sacrifice your mental health for anyone.

Dude, women have infinite attention, why would they make sure to maintain connections to everyone when they can build new ones immediately coz there's always someone waiting in line?

So the problem are simps and her not having good manners because her father didn't teach her.

Even if her father would've taught her manners, a lot of women still would start ghosting people because there's no bad consequence in doing so.

As a comparison, when me, my younger sibling and my father went out shopping at a place where everyone respects my father, my brother had no issue stealing stuff to eat every here and there because if my Dad would be around, people usually wouldn't mind giving stuff out for free. Meaning he made it a habit of taking stuff without asking while my Dad was around. Super rude and messed up, but it's this line of subconsciously taught logic that causes ghosting as well.

In youtube I follow a guy that talks about NASCAR, a guy that talks about old tech, a guy that collects Lego and makes really good reviews that are comfy to watch, a bunch of musicians, that's about it.
I don't follow any women because they seem to be incapable of making any interesting content if their life depends on it. All they do is try to look pretty.

Woman: One argument I keep on hearing when people are advocating for making sex work illegal/make it a system where everyone besides the woman is breaking the law is that men shouldn't be able to buy sex. How do you stand on that? I'm only talking about situations where the woman is obviously not doing this against her will and where it's only about men being able to buy sexual gratification for money.

Illegal but not for the one who sells it. We got enough toys, porn and OF so that everyone can sell and buy safely, we should make that part better.

I mean porn and sex toys can hardly be compared to actual sex. I just never got why someone would find the idea of two consenting adults selling/buying sex fundamentally wrong when things like cuddle cafes and other acts of intimacy are totally okay to commoditize in the eyes of most people.

I attempted to end my 7 yr relationship last night. At first my bf made the decision simple, but now he slept on it and really doesn't want to lose me

He had been an alcoholic for 5-6 years and still has some poor tendencies. Even though he's improved, he was upset about something the other day, drank, and got aggressive. Other key things in the relationship was he'd be impossible to communicate with, wouldn't go out of his way for me, basically just a selfish person. He's someone who's really fun to hang out with, but I was questioning how sustainable long-term living with him would be.

He took me for granted because he assumed we were forever. I told him that was always the goal, but never the guarantee. He got too comfortable so he never felt compelled to change, and now shit's real for him. Now he's offering to go sober (which I had asked many many times in the past), he's willing to do anything to make me love him again

    What do
    What think

It breaks my heart to see him like this, and it's not like I ever wanted to put him through this. He is extremely dependent on me for happiness

I will be honest: he sounds like a loser who is taking you for granted and hoping you'll stick around through his nonsense. Do yourself a favour and move on.
"Fun to hang out with" is not enough to build a healthy relationship on. I say this as a heavy drinker myself but if he's unwilling to quit for you and turn things around, that says it all IMO.

      >7years
That’s when most marriages end, you just never got married

He'd probably be even worse if they married

        Anonymous

Yeah, that was what was going on the whole time. I was forever to him so there was no selfless motivation to change. But now that he’s getting a reality check, now that he sees I really can leave, he’s willing to put in the effort.

He really does love me. He admit he was being selfish. I’ve never seen him truly heartbroken before bc he knew all my previous considerations to leave were empty.

The fact that he was capable of addressing my concerns the whole time, but never did bc there was no risk to him, makes me feel weird. He regrets acting like that but if I had never initiated a real breakup, he would’ve continued to do all that. I don’t like that a breakup is what it takes to hear me out.

      Depends wildly on the specific ages. A 30 y/o and a 24 y/o? Totally normal. A 34 y/o and a 20 y/o? Sketch.
The issue I ran into as a youth is this: there will always be men who were willing to date me despite a large age difference. But the GOOD men ran away (one time literally) when they found out my age, and the ones who stuck around were covered in red flags.

        Anonymous

Personally I think it depends more on the people involved than their ages. Some people age faster and slower than others, and some people mentally mature much faster too. If people are "on the same page" then even larger gaps can sometimes be okay within reason. I think its a mistake to assume that older = more power in a relationship even if that's usually the case.

          Anonymous

I never said it was a deal breaker, just that it's a red flag. Just like you said, it's not every time, but it is more likely. Red flag means "This might be of concern, watch out to see if this is an ongoing issue".
It absolutely depends on the people involved, yes, but the likelihood of them being on the same page becomes slimmer and slimmer as the age difference increases. And as the age difference increases and they're still compatible, the more likely it is that the younger had trauma (had to grow up too fast) and that the older is stunted (never had to grow up). Traumatized and stunted isn't always a death sentence, so they can still work even if that's the case. But again, it's a red flag and increases the likelihood of potential issues.

The more someone strays from 1/2+7 the more it has to be an exceptional case. And people always like to believe that they are the exceptional case and that they aren't like the others.

My boyfriend is 8 years older than me. There were some circumstances to our benefit, and I also have spent a lot of time doing research and monitoring that we weren't dysfunctional.

I see what you mean. That's my thought process too. I've just always thought the number fixation in society is a bit banal but its especially bbad in the US (not just relationships either). We are the sum of our experience, not the number of days we have been alive, even if those are often correlated. Age is more of a function of government than anything.

True beauty is sexually attractive (granted, in a slightly different way, but still). Hotness is usually not romantically attractive. That doesn't mean men can never be romantically attracted to someone they think is hot, but the hotness is not what is driving the romantic attraction.

what you think of "hotness" will only lead to men seeing you as a way for sexual gratification (not much different from a sex toy)

I had to look this up as I had never heard of this, but I don't think I have this. Certainly there are women that I view as more "saintly" and others that are more sluttish, but that's the same with men. I don't really have much of an attraction towards slutty women beyond base instinct, but women who I actually catch feelings for (the "Madonna") are both sexually and non sexually desirous to me. Which is what makes those women become the ones I fall for and not the sluttish ones.

How do I stop obsessing over her? Even thinking about her makes me smile, but I don't even know who she really is. I've literally given myself 20 minute speeches about how much I need her while I'm alone in my car, only to feel saddened by the fact that she's not there with me. That she's probably in the talking stage with 20 guys that are all better than me. I can't get her out of my fucking head. This isn't healthy

What's your relationship with this girl?

She's a girl that I met in the salvation army. We were really close while I was there, and she really took an interest in me and pushed me to pursue my artistic passions. We have the same disorders and problems so we related heavily to each other on nearly everything which is what caught me off-guard. I'm not even sure I'm into her as much as I'm just heavily attached to her.

sounds like you've got the cuck syndrome. when I have a crush on a guy and hear about him dating/talking to a "better" girl, my crush ends there.

The thing is I don't know if she really is talking to other people. I'm getting in my head over something that really doesn't exist.

If they have a healthy detachment, sure I guess. I don't really know how OF works, I assume it's possible to use in a simple "paying for porn" way, in which case I think it's great that they're supporting independent creators directly. If it's super parasocial though that's pretty ick.

How does one become more funny? Like how can I increase my sense of humor?

Would listening to a lot of comedians help? Or trying to spend time around funny people?

      Anonymous

Maybe. People say I'm funny, and I have no fucking idea how that happened because I used to just be super quiet and felt like I had nothing to say.
Honestly I think LULZ had a lot to do with it, back in my /b/ days racing to either make the obvious joke the fastest or to outdo it, and having to rely on pretty universal referential humour. Plus the completely uninhibited nature of it, being able to say literally anything, I think it makes it easy on your ability to make quick connections in your mind. Obviously you have to pull that back when talking to normies, but it's easier to dial back 'too much' than to go no further than spot on.

          Anonymous

I'm really not sure, I only realised a year or two ago when someone called me funny at work and everyone agreed, and a short while later where my friends and I were doing speeches at an event and I was similarly shouted out. It's been a very slow and steady transition I'd say over a period of about 10 years as I grew more social and confident.

          I feel you on that

I don’t want to say I’m not funny but I still want to build a sense of humor more. It’s just crazy how some people are so quick witted and can immediately just put shit together in their heads

Basically all it is is throwing shit at the wall like you said and eventually finding that things stick, and in turn this kind of sharpens your ability to say more quick witted shit

Yeah, pretty much. Practice anything often enough and you'll get faster at it.
I also watch a fair few panel shows which rely heavily on witty improvised jokes, Lee Mack on Would I Lie To You is the king of quick.

I see. Funny you should mention WILTY, as I seem to have turned my posturing into the overtly cynical and sarcastic form that David Mitchell has, but with absolutely none of the humourous wit. It doesn't help that it doesn't translate well into my native language though, so my humour has really been stifled and I find myself being on the quiet spectrum, missing the cues to jump in.

Girls I'm hanging out with for almost 3 months is acting flirty with male members in a group chat I'm in too. She seems a lot into me, like, really a lot, but this gave me insane thinking. Do girls do this on a daily basis? I know we're not in a relationship (and that's my fault since I'll probably leave this city in some months and she wants me to stay) but this still bothers me. It's been about 1 week or so since me and my fiance have had sex. We've been very busy but we think we can fit in a nookie sesh sometime later tonight.

However with everything being how it is I'm afraid something will come up. Should I Fap now that way I could potentially last longer in bed and also get rid of the weird dude energy building up inside me. OR should I wait till she gets home about 9 hours from now and then empty my reserves?

        Anonymous

        Pros of fapping now
        >Stress relief in a schedule that's really tight right now and doesn't allow for a lot of free time
        >Afterwards I'd be able to focus more on the chores a little better
        >It's been a bit since I nutted
        >It's been very busy lately so I'm not sure if we will even have sex later even though we're planning to
        >Longer sex sesh (I unfortunately cannot get hard within the refractory period after ejaculating it always takes me like another 25 minutes or something and at this point we're so tired we're probably going to go to sleep immediately after the first round)
        Cons
        >I'd feel bad that I didn't wait for my fiance
        >Maybe I should use the small amount of free time I have today to do something else

Can you tell me more about how you'd feel bad you didn't wait for your fiancee?

            Anonymous

Well I'm just afraid she would notice that I'm not as Stern or rigid as I would be if I fapped and I kind of want to treat her right and give her a good experience. Also sometimes she'll make jokes about how I fapped instead of having sex with her and she's not in the wrong, it's just good Lord trying to find time for this stuff is hard this last month. On top of that when we do get periods of free time I realize that our sex habits take a little bit to get back into their rhythm since we're just used to anything else. I just wanted to take the time and make my fiance feel special because she really is to me but the same time it's like I also am kind of a coom brain and I'm just trying to get on with my day and do the chores but I I feel that this opportunity is slipping by and I'm probably not going to bang later but I also want to bang later so I don't know.

I think a good example is yesterday my fiance waited for me to get home and it took me a little later then usual to get back. I work a cashier job and my till ended up being $444.44 so I went next door to the gas station and got a lottery ticket because I felt lucky. It was like five bucks and took like 7 minutes at the most. But by the time I got home I had to use the restroom and then my fiance had fallen asleep and when she woke up she had to go to a baby shower and we ended up not having enough time to have sex or anything. I ended up trying to clean the house because we have guests coming over and they're going to be staying for 2 weeks but I couldn't even do that I just ended up moving slow and couldn't do anything. I literally moved two boxes and then like had to lie down, we've been kind of burning the candle on both ends.

              Anonymous

I really don't see why the 7 minutes was much of an effect. It's kind of her fault that she chose to take a nap. Did you take 45 minutes in the bathroom or something?
This whole situation sucks. I can't really relate with her taking it personally because if we don't have time/energy or we don't make time/energy to have sex, then I can't blame him for jerking off. I also never ever would make a comment about him not being hard enough, what the fuck is that? I know dicks are a huge sore spot for men, I'd never say anything that has the potential to make him insecure. That's just basic decency.

I was in there for like 20 minutes and I think she was sleeping by the time I got home already maybe I don't know. As far as her comment goes well we're both pretty straight shooters and our filters have comfortably fallen off about a year ago with each other. I don't take it as a bad thing though we both kind of let each other have it but we always talk it out and work through things. We communicate sometimes it's a bit blunt but we do.

you probably just meant to ask men, but imo as a girl it's definitely in the top 10 things that most affect how people perceive you. I used to have "gamer posture", but going to gym and doing back exercises helped strengthen my back muscles and now I don't slouch as much anymore.

        What exercises did you do?

That is less attractive than if her shoulders were back but honestly it's not much of a difference, and it's not that hard to fix either.

You should really work on it. The more you concentrate on it the more likely you will do it on your own. It's also not unlikely that you're doing it wrong. A lot of people try to have "good posture" by only holding their shoulders back and find it painful to hold because they still have their hips tucked under.

Man, this makes me jealous. With my hip all fucked up I cant stand up straight right right now.

NTA but I've definitely experienced that kind of pain before. Recovering from a broken femur is hell, even with oxy. If there isn't any obvious injury pinched nerve is a decent guess. I'd try to keep off of it for a while.

Moving my leg backwards or pushing my pelvis forward seams to aggravate it the most. So standing up straight wont work for me right now. I hope it recovers enough that I can walk the day after tomorrow, because I have work.
I had a sprain in my back and I think that weakness caused it when I was lifting weights. I think that I then slept on it wrong which bought it out then the shower scene made it go atomic. So im a cripple at the moment.

                Anonymous

Oh yeah, definitely keep off of it then. It needs time to recover, you probably did fuck it up by trying to lift with a sprain in your back.

Idk what it's called, but I use this machine. I basically do "reverse pushups" by lowering my torso, and then going up until my whole body is straight like a stick, and then down again. deadlifts are also great for back muscles and generally almost any muscle as well.

            Anonymous

The weight section of my gym is too intimidating to venture to for deadlifts but I will definitely try these reverse crunches things. Thank you!

              Anonymous

oh, that's a shame.. but I know the feeling. my current gym has a separate deadlift room and thankfully it's almost always empy. but yeah it's probably the best exercise, so I still suggest to go for it if you can find any opportunity.

                Anonymous

Sit-ups or crunches would be better for building abdominal muscles, especially weighted. For shoulders and chest push-ups, pull-ups, or really lifting any kind of weight with your arms above your head. That will help your trapezius too if you want that, and the pull-ups can help with the lattisimus dorsi. But really the best options here are compound lifts like overhead press and deadlift.

you probably just meant to ask men, but imo as a girl it's definitely in the top 10 things that most affect how people perceive you. I used to have "gamer posture", but going to gym and doing back exercises helped strengthen my back muscles and now I don't slouch as much anymore.

      Anonymous

You should really work on it. The more you concentrate on it the more likely you will do it on your own. It's also not unlikely that you're doing it wrong. A lot of people try to have "good posture" by only holding their shoulders back and find it painful to hold because they still have their hips tucked under.

I'm certain this question has been asked plenty of times before, but I haven't been here for it.

Women, your bf comes over for the first time and you start cuddling together on the couch, you aren't having sex yet and you haven't done much cuddling yet, if any. He pops a boner and it's very obvious, you can feel it poking you. How would you react? Would it be flattering, gross, weird? Would you ignore it or give him a funny look, or say something about it? My preference would be if we both just pretended we didn't notice, but I don't know what women think about it.

      Anonymous

I'd probably just feel flattered/excited. If I'm cuddling close enough to feel that, I'm into you to the point of wanting to be physically close and to eventually have sex. That said, unless I wanted to try and escalate it right then and there I'd probably largely ignore it, maybe quietly smirk to myself (in a good way). I might do a subtle something just to reassure that everything's fine (eg, holding you just a little bit closer).

is it ever a good idea to "too nice" (basically as nice as I am to other women) to men if you're in a relationship?

for example there is this cashier in my local small grocery store, and he's always really friendly to me and I'm friendly in return. however now he's started to do things like packing up my groceries for me, so I wonder if I've crossed a line being "too nice", or if he's just doing that as a nice gesture

aint broke, don't fix it. he knows you have a bf, so if he's simping it's his own mistake. if he tries anything funny, you can cross that bridge if you come to it. and if he's genuinely just being nice, you don't wanna make things weird by assuming he's got ulterior motives.

Because some women really do want a monogamous relationship with one man and that's all. It's easier for people who are "free spirits" or whatever, not everyone is like that.

They're all whores in their nature, but they're hypocritical in the sense that they only want Chad's attention, which is how you get stories of men being creeps for only following their instinct.

sex doesn't mean that much emotionally for most men; they want to fuck them, but they don't inherently care about them and that sexual attention doesn't really translate to romantic attraction

Only because of older men skewing it up, and even then it's almost certainly because of dead bedrooms. Young women cheat more than young men.

I'd say it's more because men regardless of gender are most attracted to 20 y/o women and younger. which is even more reason to not get married, because in 10 years your man will probably be cheating already if you can't pass for a teenager anymore.

I guess so. and men talk as if it's ideal to ""lock down"" a man in your 20's. you'll just feel even shittier once your husband of 10+ years starts eyeing up younger women and teens.

                Anonymous

As a man, I can emphatize with that, but you also have to consider most men will be available for you unless you're desfigured, morbidly obese or extremely ugly.
Meanwhile your hypothetical husband has much less chances of doing anything with another woman since she will also have many more options than your husband.

men in general get much less sexual attention from women than women get from men. wouldn't you think that it makes men less likely to resist such a situation? women have to reject men every day, but most men wouldn't turn down a woman suggesting sex even if he's in a relationship bc it rarely happens to him.

yes, the man will probably have it harder to resist that temptation, but you have to consider the intervals. You may go all your life with your husband not having more than ONE option to cheat, and if he's strong enough in that moment and refuses, you have 10/20 years until the next chance (which decreases with every passing year)
meanwhile you as a woman will have thousands of options per month. I think you'll have a lot more of chances to fall back into infidelity the mometn your husband does something that really bothers you, leaving him all alone while you go to some other dude.
I think the blackpill in this sense affects more men than women, now that you made me think about it lol

I'm not trying to say there's anything really wrong with what you're doing, but the reason you feel like eye candy and the reason you're being harassed are the same. Men give you this attention when you dress like this because you're triggering their instinct that tells them you're trying to tell them you're available for easy sex without having to take any responsibility.

You don’t need a certain percentage to get a statistically valid s sample of the entire United States. Depending on how much error you are willing to tolerate and how many subgroups you want to look at a number between 500 and 2500 randomly selected individual is enough to make statements that are well supported about the US population. The bigger problems these days are things like response rates, modes of administration, and sample frames.

Yes, I'm a man, I can admit faults with myself. You're welcome by the way.

I don't know how it was for other men, but I started doing bad shit because of how others treated me. It's pretty easy not to feel any guilt now.

if women aren't unattracted to introversion and virginity show me a romance (made for women, not this self insert homosexual shit made for losers) where the male lead is shy/introverted and a virgin (but it's not treated as him being some fucking loser)
high school romance doesn't fucking count because of course a 16 year old is a virgin

I don't watch basically any romance movies or series, but it is often romanticized in film. take red dragon for example. in it the blonde woman (forgot her name) is clearly excited by the guy's inexperience and implied virginity, and her taking on a more active role in their sex encounter is shown as erotic. and since you're probably an incel, take the movie being centered around hannibal, a serial killer, as an indicator that lots of women have watched it lol.

Too jealous for it, sounds like it could messy really quick. But I'm a manwhore myself, and sometimes the idea of swinging sounds nice because I've been pounding the same puss for like 5 years.
