sunscreen breaks down under UV and after a few hours it’s only offering a fraction of its protection when freshly applied. if you’re someone like me who spends time outside, that extra protection helps because even though we all supposedly reapply after 2 hours, in practice that’s not always easy

          i agree totally bro
nail polish on men is the WORST fashion fail
          it looks horrible
          why do dudes do it?
but yeah neutrogena is waaaaaay overpriced

            >why do dudes do it?
I’m into punk/metal and wear it for shows sometimes
but I can’t be assed to take it off that night since I’m drunk, or the next day since I’m hungover
sometimes I get lazy and it’s just on me for a week
            is what it is

What’s a good alternative? Preferably something I can get at a pharmacy or brick-and-mortar store. Not a fan of delivery. I like Neutrogena because I don’t really feel it on my skin.

this one’s okay but i don’t like the white cast.
pic related is pretty good and what i’m using currently because i haven’t gotten around to ordering any japanese sunscreen for a while.

i don’t recommend the ceraVe mineral sunscreen. crazy white cast. makes you look sickly.

i need to wear sunscreen more often.

I was a t target today and I went by the hawaiian tropic stuff and what the fu k is the difference between sheer touch and weightless, they look like they do the same thing

    >dude le sun is BAD for you
    >fill your pores with benzo-propalyne-high-fuctose-plasticene-soipropellents instead!

Got pic attached recently and it’s great. No whitecast or sticky feeling. 50 spf sounds low but consistent reapplication is more important than spf anywyas. Vegan cruelty free for u gays that care

this stuff is okay but I’ve yet to find anything better than pic related

What’s the best sheer sunscreen that doesn’t leave a greasy or white film? I used to use supergoop but I’d have to blot myself within a few minutes of applying it to look human.

      Buy in SEA
A lot of western brands aren’t sold there because of illegal chemicals (that are damaging to coral and fish etc)
So there’s a very very slight chance it’ll be confiscated at the border

ultra sheer feels like shit on the skin. nivea water gel probably doesn’t protect as well but it’s not white and it feels normal

yes, big tan doesn’t want you to know that the greatest protection from sun is this shit.
i have a pale skin and red hair and neither my face nor my body has ever burned, i look more youthful than like 95% of my friends who use those sunscreens
this is a well kept secret btw

Any sunscreen recommendations that won’t turn out to be cancerous in a couple of years?

I never use it and just check for the UV levels on my Apple Watch and don’t stay out for longer than 1-2 hours if the level is above 4. Works for me, no burns.

A japanese youtuber who lives in my country always uses it. Another korean youtuber who went to Cancun because she wanted to see the sea there used a special "mask" to protect her skin and at no time did she come out from under an umbrella. Asians have taught me that the sun is THE enemy

Chinese international students will walk around with umbrellas at all times to protect their pale skin. I have gotten compliments from them for my pale skin, that I acquired after staying indoors all summer with my blinds shut.

    >are you ready for the summer suns?
Last summer I went from pale to as dark as I could go without it looking bizarre with only 4hrs of sun and pic rel
Right now I’m trying out the nasal spray version because I don’t want to deal with the gnarly nausea from injections. It was great being able to walk around for hours in the sun without getting a sunburn
