depends entirely on the weather and time of day, but on some occasion I'll do both if I want to enjoy cold air but have the window down. for most of the summer I'll be AC up

for me, it depends on the car and almost entirely the feeling.

Both at the same time. Sometimes I even turn the heat on with the ac still engaged

Every single car ever made does this if you have the temperature set to anything warmer than max cold, due to the way blend doors work

        >Why does this freak out boomers so much?
It's a flawed, non-thought through idea that is carried over bc they spend every waking moment of their life stressing about the individual consumption of each light bulb and every moment of air conditioning. My grandparents in Florida spend all their time with the blinds closed in almost complete darkness with their A/C set to 77. Boomers are essentially on autopilot at all times and are incapable of the self awareness to question their own actions.

Windows down since my truck has no A/C.

          >they spend every waking moment of their life stressing about the individual consumption of each light bulb and every moment of air conditioning.
Weird, all the boomers I've interacted with cannot think beyond their immediate comfort or consider stuff like energy cost or duty cycles.

for me growing up i always associated AC with cooling so i had a habit of not using it in the cold, till i learned how AC actually worked and found out that it would defrost windows even quicker than just heat alone

They are stupid. They can't understand that its different running the car HVAC than having a space heater and window ac running in the same room of the house

this. i drive with windows down anytime i can. i will throw on heat or AC to stay comfy. only in inclement weather, or high humidity to I roll up my windows

This. The time I dont use AC is when water freezes instantly (-10C or less)

Depends on the weather and speed. If I'm going under 40mph, I have the windows down and my arm hanging down the door. If I'm on the highway they're up with rhe AC on. Obviously they're up if it's raining.
    Hope this helps

This. Let them lose their gorilla hands in a crash. In modern cars you have an even better chance of losing your hand as it can get trapped by the side curtain airbag.

Depends on the weather and speed. A nice cruise at night in the 70s with the windows down is hard to beat. However if it's 85 or more I'm running AC.

    Windows down.
Mostly because I'm bad with a manual and the RPMs drop too fast on my old shitbox if I have the AC on. It screws up my timing completely.

This. I never open my car windows unless there is some important reason.
I prefer to have cleaner air and interior in my car. Opening the windows causes more dirtier air, insects, noise etc.. to come into the car.
