Are we not meant to know too much about who we (humans) are and where we came from? Will we not like what we find?

Sorry that image is not the whole quote. The actual Lovecraft quote is as follows:

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age..."

We will find that demons exist and far more of us are in league with them than any of us want to believe. Some of us unknowingly.

Knowing is one and developing a means to be their equal is another. So far if Egyptians were right on sound yet were limited to the desert and thusly their downfall. Who are we to deny singing to the Earth.

if you had complete knowledge of your past lives you would immediately stop bothering to give a shit and would basically become a dead pixel as far as the simulation goes. you would stop playing the game set up to feed reptilians their loosh and you might inspire others as well.

it's kinda like wanting to activate god mode but the enemies have better control over the console than you do and just boot you out.

no, we will be pleasantly surprised when we finally remember it all. the universe is benevolent. this small corner of it, the "dark" area, is merely a training ground. we are all immortal spiritual beings, inseparably one with God, who is the essence of infinite unconditional love for all things.
