The thing about these shoes that pisses me off is you can’t even try them on. You have to PAY FOR THEM FIRST and if you don’t like ’em, return ’em.

Maybe it’s different in France? At least that’s how it is in their USA stores.

All of their stores are stupid. They have a "bouncer" and make people stand in line even when the store is empty because they want to seem exclusive. For $150 sneakers.

nah they’re priced 150-180 and their gimmick is "sustainable" made in brazil and no advertising budget.
they’re one of the cheapest decent sneakers you can buy if you are trying to avoid shoes made with asian slave labor.

are these another $300+ sneaker that nobody has ever heard of that are all "limited"?

I had a pair a few years ago, they were around 80€, it was not exclusive at all.

I didn’t like them because they had that generic sole you see on every entry level sneakers (pic related), and too wide in the middle part, like basketball shoes.
Also, every other person i saw wearing them was either a woman or a gay.
So i gave them away, i mostly wear GATS now (white if it’s sunny, black if it rains).

Yeah that’s the joke autismo-kun. Bouncers are for popular nightclubs and the Louis Vuitton store not a shoe store (ok maybe if it was a store selling $1500 shoes)

A joke is supposed to be funny tho, gay-kun.
Saying $80 shoes cost $300 is not funny, a lot of shoes cost $300+.

Ah, I assumed autistic, but you are just stupid.

Veja dropped their leather quality significantly in 2015. It used to be veg tan pigmented leather and now its plastic coated bullshit only a small step up from what you’d find on some cheap nikes or adidas. Despite greenwashing the act of spraying their leather in a thick coating of polyurethane, they admit on their website on their sustainability info page that this was done strictly to cut production costs.
shame too i would buy a pair if they cost a bit more and used good leather.

you wore those way beyond their lifespan, most sneakers under 200 bucks would not hold up as well.

they’re okay i’ll take made in brazil over asia slave labor. thats the appeal to me. they’re cheap for non chinked shoes.
their silhouettes and colorways are very samey and boring i don’t see veja being trendy very long but i would like the brand to surprise me because the world needs more normie acceptable alternatives to nike and adidas garbo.

    "sustainable" rubber though hecking lol
rubber trees can’t be farmed and those uncontacted tribes in the amazon rainforest exist because of how brutal the rubber barons were

they look alright but they scream "im euro and i suck dicks"
    cute if you’re a girl
p gay if you’re a guy but you get a pass if you’re wearing them trying to pull a euro chick cause no american actually wears these

      Yes
      >what’s the alternative in europe for white sneakers that don’t emasculate me
Are you telling me that a sneaker can emasculate you?

      >no american actually wears these
      Instantly goated

I swear to god every once in a while a pair of totally dull and uninteresting white sneakers drops and every normie has them, before the V they wore the ones with the star on the side and before that it was those with the little black square i’ll go for a walk in the city centre and be swarmed by bots wearing this stuff and it always looks worse than a pair of hecking stan smith or any other proper white sneaker it’s insane

they’re okay. fair quality for the price, definitely a step above Nike or Adidas. designs are boring, but that makes them easy to style, they go with everything
it’s nice to see a brand actually go hard into the "ethical" (non-Chinese) manufacturing and eco-friendliness. most brands will throw those terms around and then it turns out that their 100% plastic sweaters are now made from 5% recycled plastic or some shit like that

I’d still get the leather options though, I’d be suspricious of how the leather substitutes will look in a few years
