Is there any mouse like that with sensors and switches good enough for fps vidya? Doesn't have to be fully vertical, just sloped enough to not have flex in my forearm
been working as a programmer for 11 years now and I still don't have carpal syndrome so I guess it works as intended. The downside is it's shit for precise movement, drawing is kinda frustrating. I imagine aiming in fps is bad too, luckily the only one I play is doom so I don't really care.
I have one of these, and I can confirm that while they are not as accurate(like 20% less accurate, not much of a big deal) as a regular mouse, they are comfortable. I use this mouse when I work and a regular mouse when I play

I work as a writer and play Hearthstone and other point and click games. Sometimes my Klip Extreme unit I've had for over a year releases before I actually want to let go causing a misclick if I don't give the button 100% force. Is this normal for ergomice or should I just get a different brand?
im using this exact one at this very moment. got rid of my carpal tunnel in a few days. perfect for working but not very good for gaming.
I have for about a month now and didnt have to change the battery once. I'd say, yes, its worth it.
Cool story bro. I had the first G502 for so many years I no longer remember when I bought it and then I gave it away to a kid in my family when I upgraded to a wireless G303 in early 2022. They just werk. They never break.
I know genetics places a big role, but when do people usually start getting carpal tunnel? I'm 26 and dont have a problem at all. And I assume most people here are like me in that they sit at their desktop for near 16 hours day since they were 12.
My eyes went bad about 2 years ago which I'm sure is because of screen use.
I got cubital tunnel after working at home in an ergonomically terrible setup at 28. (desk too high, chair too low, arm hitting desk below the wrist all day). Had a lot of numbness in my left ring and pinky finger and trouble moving my pinky finger and typing with it. It's pretty much gone away now, though
I use pic related. >Hama EMW-700
It's not as steep as the most and thus still offers some precision. At the same time, it kind of doesn't feel vertical enough to warrant the purchase. But since I have it, I'll keep using it.
I started using vertical mice about 2 years ago because i developed a fucked up tendonitis that prevents me from using a mouse for long periods of time, now I use the same as pic related and does wonders for me. Also use it for vidya but I don't play multiplayed shit lol
Absolutely, anon. I loved my G502 but it's too narrow for my hand and I was using it a shitton so it was giving me carpal tunnel. I switched to another mouse but this sharp pain in the back of my hand wouldn't go away. So I got scared and bought a $15 vertical mouse whose brand I can't remember (one of the popular ones on Amazon, DCI, DSI, something like that) and it fixed my shit almost instantly. After several years I went back to the Logitech but that vertical mouse probably saved my hand.
Are you a draftsman? Then no.
if you want to protect your wrist and you dont care about vidya, yes.
Bro, just put a towel under your wrist or something. It's not that hard to avoid carpal tunnel.
this makes it worse, the problem is having your wrist horizontal and pronated for so long
i use mine for vidya, works great
What about your keyboard hand though?
I'm using it on a daily basis, it's perfectly comfortable.
But mine is way better built than the picrel.
What do you use?

I'm using the wired version as I hate wireless mice...
Behold the trackpoint version of the mouse.
what can this do that the steam controller can't?
It's more ergonomic
it's a device you have to use on a flat surface whereas a handheld controller can be held in your lap or any position comfortably
I tried playing DCS with a PS4 controller once, it was cancerous.
I got one of the Anker ones, it's great, though made for people with larger hands.

This is why controllers are supreme since your hands are in the default

If this is apparently better for your wrist, then why don’t they make keyboards with this shape
>what is a tented keyboard
Absolutely, but not from Logishit. All my Logishit stuff has broken within <1 year of use. Aside from that, vertical mice literally cured my RSI.
yes
All my Logitech items have broken within the year. If someone can give me an alternative ergonomic mouse I'll consider it

You replied with a story as if I cared?
fucking double clicking piece of shit mice
if you want to avoid crapal tunnel all you have to do is just flap your hands around like an e-girl with tourettes every 30 minutes.

I've been using a horizontal mouse for around a year now. It's way better but it's not a silver bullet.
>vertical mouse
shit
>vertical trackball
AWWWW YEAH
Can I snipe niggas with it
You cannot buy them at my local Best Buy.
If you use mouse often sure. Personally use mx master since I can hold it like quazi vertical and isn't a huge block to carry around
I use pic related.

I hope I never have u on my team in any online game
I don't play competitive video games
