No, because there’s no such thing as fashion advice. The whole thing is subjective, and apart from guidelines regarding the fit of garments, materials and so on, looking good is all down to personality and confidence. Instead of advice, search for inspo. Trial and error is the way to go. You will look like a dumbass sometimes, but hey who cares in the end.

All advice channels boil down to basic shit like "wear stuff that fits" or peddling whatever brand of generic sneakers they’re sponsored by that week.

The Italian youtubers generally have good style, but give shitty advice. You are better off just watching the videos on mute and copying stuff you like.

I like christian. Not gonna post his channel cause you will call me a shill but you know the one.

I like him cause he has a defined fashion sense and his videos are funny and actually informative. He actually talks about sillhouettes colour theory and breaks down current fashion trends into digestible videos.

The mensfashion guy that OP posted and his lookalikes remind me of "fashion for incels". They have no appreciation for fashion and dress like ur dad. Their videos have no depth and its an easy trap for newcomers who have no idea what they are doing.

man, i forgot about alpha m.

yeah. i don’t always like his videos, but sometimes i put them on in the background while i’m working just because they’re entertaining.

i don’t think any fashion youtubers give advice beyond things that are already common sense. i only follow most of them because i want to keep up with current trends.

Get a pair of shoes that aren’t sneakers.
Get a season appropriate jacket that isn’t a hoodie.
Stop wearing graphic ts all the time.
There you go, this will improve 90% of you.

Big influencers are there to explain the broadly applicable rules to as many people as they can, which happens to be the most basic and repetitive shit.

Good influencers are there to explain taste and why good outfits work. Frugal Aesthetic on youtube is the only person I found so far that is a clear example of this. He gets the visual language and cultural context of pieces or brands. It isn’t technically advice, but any average person looking into menswear Youtube can learn a lot.

You know that public high school student who copies a story he heard the popular kid say that morning for clout in his next class. That one filipino kid is almost 30 but didn’t invest anything if at all into higher education or skills, or even market and crypto, he stayed safe in a box of thrift stores and internet addiction. Now he is motivated by rent, so he looks for consistency in his primary income sources, finding the latest meme templates to engage his viewership of high schooler. How can post high school, pre college students afford Rick Owens? Post Covid data shows even more American young adults staying at their parents, parallel to the unaffordable increases in rent. They spent their covid unemployment and tax refunds on entree level luxury. Then cope with their special ed youtubers. Miserable company.

While I know that many people might call Gentleman’s Gazette a larp (dressing in ol’ time ways), I think learning about the history and craftsmanship that goes into certain types of items and fashion movements adds a lot of context to understanding what one’s own style could (or couldn’t) be.

No because there’s no such thing as good youtubers. You either comply to be a shill, or get stomped out by algorithms, ai bots, and media companies in control of approval where they essential get packages of some Israeli man’s half breed son who wants to enter the Taiwanese basket weaving industry so full support for x amount paid in installments.
