They only work for naturally very slim people, however I see here people, and by people I mean mostly overweight, heavy-boned, short turks and gypsies (not the cool irish kind of gypsies) who force themselves into them like a sperm whale into a human sized condom and loose whatever is left of their dignity by doing so.

I’m in grad school and every grad as well as every undergrad I interact with have skinny jeans. Just wear whatever looks good and feels good on you.

That said I personally wear skinny pants not because it’s a trend in my particular area but because I’m short and skinny and feel like wider pants make me look even shorter and skinnier. Plus I find skinny pants more comfortable. Wide cuts dangle about on my shins which is annoying.

They make you look old and clueless, they have been out for over two years.
Look around you and you’ll see that every 40+ year old is wearing slim and skinny cut pants. Not flattering especially since these millennials are now mostly fat.
You can get away with wearing skinny if you are heroinmaxxing, otherwise go straight cut or bootcut if you are fashion forward.

I still like skinny jeans. I like when things fit well. Suits should be tailored, and jeans should be tapered to your leg. Just my two cents.

I recently changed my style in regard to jeans for a more looser fit just because I’m hecking bored with wearing skinny jeans. I’m 31 and I copped my first skinny pair in the first year of high school. They’re just dull to me, nothing to do with zoomers since they’re not a new fad.
