Oral tertinoin is one of the nastiest drugs out there. It should only be used as a last ditch effort for people with life destroying acne. Just use the cream, it won’t give you permanent chronic dye eyes or make you flip out and rope.

got put on accutane when i was 15. I didnt even have that bad of acne, not even cystic, still dont even have any acne scars… not sure why but my parents made me go to a dermatologist who then prescribed it.
when i tell you accutane is HELL i cannot overstate it.
i went from a normal spergy teen to a suicidal mess. i even stopped running track because the drug made me puke so damn much. if you take it on an empty stomach you WILL projectile vomit, and even after eating food it’s not that much better. i looked like i was a chemo patient or something and my parents kept me on that shitty drug. pretty sure my eyes are permanently hecked up also.

also while youre on it you may not get acne but your skin sure as hell will not be nice, you probably could slather your face in coconut oil every day and STILL have flakey dry skin and leave little clumps of you everywhere. it turns you into a croissant
not sure why this boomer hell drug is legal tbh. also have fun getting monthly hecking blood tests to make sure it’s not poisoning you to death, because there are side effects even worse than what ive described.

      Lmao ungrateful cunts lmao

      Accutane is a godsend

Enjoy your long term side effects as they creep in during your late 20s and 30s and forget about having a normal child

tret cream has ruined my eyes, I have permanent dry eye and my oil glands don’t work. Do not use this piece of shit cream on your face, it migrates to the eyes even when you think you apply it far

It gives you Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) it’s terrible and likely permanent. I got it after using a full tube of the topical gel, even putting it on my cheekbones it migrated to the eyelids.

If you have acne you have to stop the cause of it which is 100% proven to be Insulin growth factor type-1. You have to stop having milk and cocoa and anything that raises your blood sugar. The doctors will never admit this is proven scientific fact and you can lookup countless studies that have established the link and mechanism.

heck medicine, death to all dermatologists

wtf? that sounds a little histrionic. i took accutane and had no side effects except for dry skin and constantly chapped lips. you have to moisturize everyday and always carry chapstick. that’s pretty much it.

My experience as well. I really weird side effect, I used to have very frequent nose bleeds BEFORE taking accutane, but after the 6 months of taking it, they rarely occurred for 3-4 years. They started coming back last year unfortunately. I have no other explanation as what could have caused them to stop.

got a topical tret recently via private online prescription, thankfully my skin absorbs it from day 1 without any irritation or whatever but im clueless how to get more tret consistently.
Getting my skin checked online cost 10€, the tret itself was 36€ and the tube lasts maybe like a month? Not only is this pretty expensive for me but I also don’t ger how I’m supposed to get another description. My real derm is a huge gay who didn’t wanna get me tret bc "muh potential side effects". If it were that easy to get you bet your sweet baby smooth ass I’d get rid of almost any other skin care products.

Buy it from overseas pharmacy websites, i use skinorac. Gotta pay with Amazon gift cards but it works fine and shit is like $7 a tube. I also used alldaychemist in the past and that worked fine too but payment was more annoying. I think in the uk there is some loophole where you can buy from hong kong pharmacys and its very easy and cheap but i haven’t looked into it because i don’t live there.
Most of the USA tret prescription telemedicine websites are also expensive but i think cureoligy is only $20 a bottle.

But yeah, its easy you buy it, they ship it to you, it just goes through customs no problems. No hecking way im paying $40 a tube for this shit. I think all day chemist asks for a prescription but they don’t require one, they just stick it in the box with your order if you have one.

The only adults I know who are taking oral retinoids are roiders lmao.
There are no actives that are good enough to maintain a moisture barrier. Lactic acid (typically used as a light AHA chemical exfoliant) has some humectant properties, but it’s not a complete solution for maintaining a moisture barrier. You still need a moisturizer with a good emollient/humectant/occlusive mix.

got some light acne on my chin for approximately 3-4 years, cleared up once i could grow facial hair, just have sebaceous filament on my nose that I use typical skincare stuff on to reduce the size of, I hear accutane can give you crohn’s

this shit literally gives you PERMANENT side effects that ruin your body forever LMAO

Any idea what this shit is, /fashion/? My right eyelid is so swollen and I’m ready to sudoku. Check out how hecking red it is. My left eyelid has had flaking issues since 2017 and although the flaking isn’t as severe now, the skin looks so hecked up. It’s so wrinkly and it’s still itchy. Now my right eyelid decided to have the same issue when it was fine before, though still quite puffy. I’ve tried so many different OTC eye creams and they do nothing, my dermatologist gave me neomycin/polymyxin B/dexamethasone combination gel and it does nothing. I’ve noticed it clears up somewhat when I’m on antibiotics but as soon as I’m off of it it all comes back. My next appointment with my dermatologist isn’t until next month, but it hurts so bad. Reckon vaseline will help in the meantime? I’m a little nervous putting shit on an essentially open eyelid cut though.

is that a genetic condition? Very weird. I think vaseline might be fine but have u tried rubbing ice cubes on it? for me that has always helped with irritation or post-shave cuts, it feels good too.

Also if all else fails, get grenz ray therapy. Will get rid of it might cause some veins being more noticeable but better than letting it fester. They can give a low dose so it won’t penetrate the eyelid.

On it right now. End of month 2. 80mg daily.
Back pain was ass but then I chugged more water and take fish oil so it’s fine.
Dry lips but I use good shit 15 times a day.
    No purge
