I like them, but like most things, you guys make the mistake of thinking that everything that looks good on 10/10 male models will look good on you. It’s a tale as old as time. I’m old enough to remember the undercut craze so this is obvious to me. So no, not everything that looks great on the actors in shows like Succession look great on all men.

      >2015: chinos are an exotic new trend
      >2023: some netflix show invented baseball caps without a sportsball logo
      I love this board

Idk if you have trouble parsing what I actually wrote or what but I’ll be ultra-clear and state that as a matter of fact I did not say that a show invented baseball caps.

What was your intended message then? The near-universal line I get from people who wear sportsball caps is that I "look like an undercover cop" not "you look like the guy from the netflix show". I have been wearing logoless caps since literally the mid 1990s and nobody has ever said "oh you look like the real housewives of succession", I wonder why?

            >op posts image of a very attractive actor wearing a blank baseball cap
            >op asks if they’re /fashion/, clearly referring to his image
            >anon says not everything that looks good on a model (like op picrel) will look good on everyone
            >room temp iq anon starts sitting his pants because he struggles to make simple connections a toddler could make with ease
            I’m nta, but you’re a hecking brainlet.

Do you have any idea how common that style of hat is? You shut-ins think everything was invented by whatever TV drama is in TMZ/Page Six currently

You’re missing the point, dude. A basic blank ball cap is as basic as you can possibly get. It’s like asking if a white t-shirt is /fashion/. Sure. If you’re hot, a white t-shirt will look great. If you’re a hairy fat slob, they’ll look like shit. It’s the same with these. If you had asked about juxtaposing them with something like button downs or wool coats as in the pic that would be different.

            >white t-shirt
Well la di da look at mr trendy here. Dude you’re not Travis Kalce, you need to be very handsome to pull off something on the bleeding edge of fashion like a white T Shirt.

holy hecking shit. I didn’t say that. I was ragging on you for thinking that other anon said that when he didn’t.
            hecking moron.

So the point of alluding to the show was to say “Yeah, if you’re a hot rich actor made to look better by television magic, blank ball caps look great but if you’re not they might not”. But you missed that and thought what was being said is that the style was created or somehow normalized by the show.

Yeah it’s weird. I’m so used to hats having logos or at least a Velcro thing on the front that a blank one just looks naked
