its a completely unique album man, crafted by an artist that is unlike any other and has pursued his own creative path for the last 15 years or something , its the (until now) culmination of all of lil ugly manes rumination, introspection and musical experimentation. here you have an extremely talented and intelligent artist who lays bare all his deepest feelings and most insightful conclusions about life backed by the producing skills gained over a lifetime career of creating emotive and evocative sounds. what lil ugly mane manages to pack in 40 min of songs is something most artists wont achieve in a lifetime. it is the apex of a conflicted and painful soul externalised.

this album is lil ugly mane immutably and lil ugly mane is this album immutably, itd be hard for anybody to create anything similar. the soundscape & lyrics & general vibe is something that ive never seen anywhere else

its a carefree abandoning of all previous suffering, it is coming to terms with the unfairness and clown brutality of this world, it is a spiritual acceptance of the unknown, lil ugly mane has seen a life of misery, strife, pure brutality and has realized the deeper truths behind it all and has created a 40 min pure distillation of this message in all its abstract musical form. on previous albums lil ugly mane battles inner demons and experiences heavy heavy internal turmoil, the kind of turmoil that we can all relate to, he exposes his dark inner being in his other projects with distorted majestically dark production and lyrics, he delves into the deepest unknowns of his soul, something that all great artists and individuals worth their salt do at some point. he delves in, grovels in his deepest unknown and creates projects like bedwetter and oblivion access and other. but at the other side of this pit, this ceaseless darkness is endless light and frivolity, and that is what lil ugly mane manages to capture in volcanic bird enemy, its like that fucking camus quote "invincible summer" at the other end of pure internal agony is release, pure release as you come to terms with this this world and your place in it. this laughing in the face of the clown brutality of our circus world, this abandoning of reason in the face of the meaninglessness of it all, this spiritual acceptance of our lives and any trivialities that come with it, this cathartic realization of the infinite, this is a truth that very few pieces of media capture quite as well as this one. it is a truth that i dont expect many people to fully grasp, definitely not retards on here, but its a beautiful one man

its a man at the end of all realizations and letting go, a man staring into the cliff of infinity and jumping in with a tattered kaleidoscopic parachute and a smile on his face

I like the cover. its intriguing. also, "The Voiced Concern" is a great name for a backing group/group in general.

i haven’t listened to it yet tbh, i doubt it could top MTI or oblivion access or even the recent spate of singles

fox academy scratches a similar itch for me, the production style and vocals are somewhat similar to volcanic bird enemy, pretty underrated band

I hate the singing on this album.
Sucks too because it all types of creative and carries good instrumentals. But the singing is too amateur for me.
