Yes. I play with $10k of my own money at 100x leverage. That means every time BTC moves 0.5% down/up from my entry position I earn 50% (0.5% x 100) from $10k. There is a risk of liquidation, that's why you should leave some money to cover your position when BTC moves against your play. If you know what you are doing then crab season is perfect for day trading.
Right now it looks like BTC is getting ready to break through so I'm playing it safe for now.

Yes.
You have to place buy/sell order above your liquidation price, so you don't get liquidated. With 100x leverage ~$100 movement below/above your entry position will forcefully close your position and you will basically lose all your money.
Also when you say leave some money to cover, how exactly does that work
