Cool white is too sharp for my visage, and makes me look too sickly. I recieved a lot of white tshirts and dont want to throw them away. Anyone any tips?

same here, i just shop around and hope 🙁
you could try staining with coffee, I haven’t tried it on white before though and idk how it takes. just don’t use store-bought brown dye BC the tee will come out purple-blueish

Just buy the right color shirts for heck’s sake. You can’t just turn them beige without damaging them, unless you wear them for a month straight until they turn crusty and stink.

I die all my white tshirts with tea. Put 5-10 teabags in a bucket with hot water, let sit for some 15 minutes. Put in tshirts for 30 minutes, stir them around from time to time. Rinse with cold water, put in the washing machine, there you go. Works best with new shirts, already used ones may be affected by invisible residue from deodorants and other cosmetics and the dyeing will reveal it and look like shit. The color will fade over time, but they will never, ever be white again. Always a nice, offwhite, cream colour.

Right, so stain your clothes, except make sure stains coverer the entire piece of clothing, and ensure it will not wash out. No way this will dye clothes evenly.

that’s what stirring is for, ya numpty. you have to stir artificial dyes, too.

        >stain your clothes,
What do you think dye is, moron?

They don’t use tea, I can tell you that much.Whatever they use, it won’t run after being washed once.

        >just use tea bro
        lmao this board sometimes

Look, tea has in it a thing called tannins. Same thing can be found in walnuts, oak and other natural substances with historically documented use for making dyes, ink, etc. The thing about tannins is they don’t need a mordant (a subtance that you add to the dyeing process to set the dye). And above all, I have dyed all my tshirt with tea with the method I posted earlier, it was some 4 years ago, and to this day, after countless washes, they are still a lovely, off-white, beige colour. Just becouse it’s called "tea", and you know it as the thing that you drink, does not mean that it does not have other, perfectly valid uses.

    Fem anon moment

The smallest amount of vanilla extract in the washing machine will tint them.

If you over do it OR WANT OLDER SHIRTS TO BE WHITE

just and a little bit of blue food dye to water add shirt over night ( NOT IN YOUR WASHING MACHINE)
