Yeah, I feel like someone should do a case study on how it went down the shitter.
Was a user, and a fan, for years, but then it just started fucking up basic shit. Like syncing stopped working. You would open the app and there would be nothing but a blank screen.
Submit ticket and customer support dipshits would do nothing but say "uh, maybe reboot your computer? Ok, that didn't work? Maybe try that 72 more times? Ok, still not working, maybe uninstall and re-install? Ok, that didn't work, maybe do that 9 more times. Ok, that didn't work, well, fuck you I guess.

It's really not the same thing at all
i used to use it. it has the upside of mostly being an all-in-one solution. that being said at some point, i started using naturally a plethora of different more efficient methods yo do note taking and oneNote replaced what could not be replaced. It is just too expensive even by old 2016 prices ( the year i stopped using ) .
What's wrong with Joplin?

I stuck around to see what would happen with Bending Spoons. They plan to implement A.I but at an 80%+ price hike. Right now I'm looking at Joplin, Obsidian, Logseq, and a couple of others.
