>For us to live any other way was nuts. Uh, to us, those goody-good people who worked shitty jobs for bum paychecks and took the subway to work every day, and worried about their bills, were dead. I mean, they were suckers. They had no balls.
I know the feeling. Finding a job in this current economy is ass. I can barely find part time work which lets me buy pizza's every now and again. How the fuck is the average American supposed to survive if all these illegals come over?
Under Trump I actually thrived working and keeping a roof over my head 2016-19 were the best years for work and I hope Trump wins again next year so we have a future worth fighting for.
In the same boat got rejected as a dishwasher and ghosted by another dishwasher job
you guys have to be kidding.. there are tons of job openings that don't even required you to have a pulse almost and pay pretty decent. Only on /misc/ are there disasters like this.. I guess be a neet.
Not on the coasts. Its most likely different in the midwest but theres no work to be had in Cali. Its a nightmare hellscape for productive workers unless your Mexicano.
My first job was a dishwasher and I held an insurrection within 3 hours.. got 4 other dudes to quit with me and made the waitresses wash for the night.
I stopped applying because I was sick of it and two months later I got a call and will be making a metric shit ton of money starting next month.
I would tell you to "keep trying" and "don't give up" but I gave up and stopped trying and things turned out fine anyway lmao.
>left school at 18 and have been an idling NEET for 6 years
It's unironically over for me. How am I supposed to explain such a large gap of being unemployed other than by me just being lazy and depressed? Literally impossible for me to get a job now.
yeah you will have to start low and that gap will always be a red flag. I don't think I belong on /misc// I didn't realize there was that much failure here. But I guess it accounts for their batshit crazy views of the world.
I left school but worked as a cook for 3 years and saved 70k. Have been a neet for 7 years now, will likely go back to work when my money's been depleted or financial hardship demands it.
I started as an electrician at 23, after having done not much other than having a mental breakdown and flunking out of the military since I was 15.
No one cared, I still got an apprenticeship just fine, and I'm now a journeyman at 28 making pretty good money, about to go back to school for an engineering degree. Just be competent.
I work in a fairly nice workshop building BMS control panels like pic related. Crawling around in insulation is for suckers. Also, it's just a springboard to a career as a maritime engineer for me.
Say that you were trying to start your own business, website etc throughout those years but it didn't work out, bullshit that you were doing freelance work or that you were trying to learn how to paint, program, 3d model etc. Just lie lol
>I took a gap year >I did some travelling >I traded crypto >I worked for x family member
In this circumstance it is not unethical to lie, because HR roasties are treating you unfairly for having a gap in your job history despite it having no relevance to your ability to do a job.
Perfectly said. Yeah, a gap is no problem because it takes a day at most to devise and practice a really compelling story. Write down a bunch of details in case they ask follow up questions about it. The bigger question is whether you have the right skills to answer technical interview questions. That can require some serious studying if not.
>he is looking for a job at the end of the year
Why do you think the companies have hiring budget? Wait for February when it's clear what they will be working on throughout the year.
are you applying to wal-mart again?
Go work in construction homosexual
T. zoomer
t. mafioso

That's the best part. They aren't
They're meant to go be forced into going full 1488 mode and initiate a decade long race war resulting in ~5 billion dead.
Under Trump I actually thrived working and keeping a roof over my head 2016-19 were the best years for work and I hope Trump wins again next year so we have a future worth fighting for.

Have you tried not being a massive homosexual?

>I took a gap year
