How did life start only once on Earth? Do you think you're the only one that's alive or something?

if life starting could happen more than once, it would have on earth in 4.5 billion years, but it didnt.

        >big bang happened 1.38*10^10 years ago
        >155 million years after the big bang the first star is formed
        >the remaining 1.39 billion years life never formed
ok, sure, fine. but we still have 100 trillion years to go.

Life may have has multiple starts on earth, according to some scientists.

Once in 4.5 billion years, is absolutely not the same, as once, ever. There's only one CURRENTLY KNOWN planet with life on it.

Some scientists think life might exist on moons of gas giants, such an titan and europa.

The drake equation practically guarantees that other life exists elsewhere. What you're talking about, is the fermi paradox. or, "well where are they, then?"

and the answer of where other life like ours exists, is on a planet or moon like our own home. Why haven't we communicated with them? because space is vast.

and then, there are mysterious signals we've recieved. most are undoubtedly unknown spatial phenomena. but what if just one is intelligent in origin, and we just can't currently tell?

I think it's a little darker than that. Look at the Earth, being eats being in a large chain; why would the rest of the Universe be any different? It's the most obvious conclusion in the world once you think about it for a minute. Those in the know just don't think the average person can handle finding out that we're not at the top of the food chain.
