I make 120k as security in america
to be fair though, you dont have to pay for healthcare
actually we do through taxes, and the NHS is an absolute shambles
at least you get a choice
I've paid income tax for 15 years, never used the NHS and honestly if i ever develop something serious i'm going private anyway.
You do realise when the government says something is free it's via taxation.
>just go have 6 figure debts bro
>6 figure medical debt meme
Literally hasn't been a thing in decades. Just pay the out of pocket max lmao
move there if you pine for it so much
at least you have hot british slags to bang
Salaries are much better in the US, however, Americans don't just get no paid annual leave - they're literally not even allowed time off work. So you can easily save money but if you decide you want to take 2 weeks off to travel to another continent and spend that money, you are not allowed
This is bullshit. I took two weeks off straight starting labour day weekend.
Good jobs in the US can give you a month or more paid/sick leave. Mostly government and professional corporate jobs. I'm a retard caretaker though and I get a whopping 36 hours paid leave per year and they won't even approve it if I do any extra overtime shifts in that pay period, which I always do because that's the only way I'm able to achieve a decent paycheck.
At least your food is good and your country is still white
European here. Where are you from? I can give you a plan to legally work here if you’re eligible. I made it.
I'm ready for your plan anon, not OP but live in London and have a Swedish wife so I could get a work permit in EU
Firstly, your wife being from Sweden can apply for the diversity lottery, with you as her named spouse. This would be the easiest way for you to get permanent residency, but the chances of winning aren’t great. That said, it’s an easy and free application.
What field do you and/or your wife work in? Is it technical? Nursing? US entry is sponsorship based, either work or family.
If I were an engineer I would basically not do any of these jobs if this were the kind of pay I could expect I would switch careers instead.
Maybe engineers should just all switch careers until there are no engineers left and employers are forced to pay more. What are they going to do, hire an indian to build a bridge? Lol
Just illegally immigrate. Better time than ever to do so
