      What diet helps with this?
I have it on my hairline and it’s making the hair more brittle, i don’t wanna take finasteride and risk accidentally putting myself through HRT.

Fixing your diet will help with flare ups but thats about it. It wont solve the problem.

If you have fungus living on your scalp you have to put an antifungal on it. You can use shampoo’s but those are not really effective.

The best thing you can do is put baking soda all over your scalp before bed and sleep with a hat on to cover it. Then shower in the morning. After doing that for two days you will see obvious improvement.

Baking Soda has been used for thousands of years to treat fungal skin conditions.

Bro all you need is Nizoral once every 3-days for 2-weeks then down to maintenance once daily and Vichy Dercos regular/alternating

I had pretty bad dandruff until I used Nizoral shampoo, it’s the only thing that worked and it basically cured my dandruff. I haven’t even used it in months and I don’t have the itchiness or flakes. I still use it every once in a while just as a precaution though. I tried coal tar shampoo before (both generic pharmacy brand and Neutrogena) and while it kinda helped, there were times where it seemed ineffective and it never actually "cured" it like nizoral did.

How many times you use it?

          2/3 times a week
don’t over do it, it will heck up your scalp
It’s a chronic condition so you can never stop using it competently but after a month or two you could drop it down to once a week.

      >Nizoral
100%. Nizoral did it for me and it’s the least offensive smelling dandruff shampoo. I use it once every 2 weeks to maintain after the problem went away.

I took a probiotic that made me have bad flare ups. I narrowed it down to a strain of Subtilis that caused problems for me.

So yea it is linked to your digestion. But thats not the root cause.

OP, do you air-dry your hair or do you blowdry it? Make sure your scalp is dried off after showering, wet hair keeping your scalp damp can do this
