A serious question

Why does he need a war chest that big? No other company in crypto so aggressively dumps on its own holders and screw them over like that. Especially when the coin anticipates to rise so he is losing potential value of the coins.

Because the tokenomics is absolute garbage and you can’t make any money off of chainlink.

I’m legitimately worried, it’s like owning part of the federal reserve or the bank for international settlement. It’s gonna become extremely israeli and institutional. That’s why it was suppressed so long, this shit is all gonna be controlled by JP Morgan & Co and the Rothschilds. Chainlink is gonna be the biggest thing since the Jekyll Island conference. I’m glad I got some but I’m not gonna be proud. This Big Mac scarfing fat homosexual is gonna forge the most recent link in the chains enslaving mankind.

Ok so from what I understand link is like buying a can of coke and expecting Coca Cola's growth to make you rich because you hold the can of coke.

In the meantime, coca cola has millions of cans of coke (links=coca cola cans) they’re selling to the market to make money.

How does holding a can of coke (link) benefit you exactly? Answer me.

Link is not stock. Sergey has no financial obligation to disclose the state of the company, nor financially benefit link holders.

Coca Cola will continue to produce cans of coke, forever. Chainlink will not. Staking LINK will cause scarcity. I am buying for that reason and I am not the only one doing this.

Isn’t link divisible by 18 decimals? That’s the same as infinite link. Also, why do you say staking will cause scarcity when you have no access to the financial statements of the company because Sergey has no obligation to disclose them? Are you speculating?

Chainlink is the backbone of Web3 and DeFi. Traditional financial institutions will be bringing business on chain using CCIP, tokenized assets are coming too. This will bring trillions of dollars in revenue being processed by the LINK network. Unlike you I have money to bet with, and I’m betting that LINK will increase in value beyond $6. While my bet is placed I will be earning additional LINK at a rate of 4.5%, forever. I am not the only one doing this.

            >Chainlink is the backbone of Web3 and DeFi. Traditional financial institutions will be bringing business on chain using CCIP
Is this speculation? I’ve heard of swift’s EXPERIMENTS with chainlink. But is there any confirmation of said assets tokenization taking place?

Is link like those revolutionary lego-like houses that claim they’re about to solve homelessness every year, just for them to not be used by anyone?

Speculation without reach to the masses barely pumps the price of crypto. Chainlink doesn’t seem to be particularly good at marketing so I don’t think these breadcrumbs will make the token go up in price. I was under the impression that the chainlink team had “fundamentals”, but I was wrong, it seems, by the look of link holders. There are far better speculative plays in crypto.

Nobody explain anything to these retarded fudders and newfags.

You don’t want more people holding link? How will it pump then?

I’ve noticed link dumps on very specific ranges. There are probably some entities that detected there are no people providing price support and proceed to short link.

That might be a good idea. Any suggestions on the best place to short link?

I think linkies are vetting that the use case takes off and staking gives legitimate returns. then everyone will want to buy to stake. if so, scarcity drives coke can values up.

If the price of 1 Coca Cola can ever goes higher than a cup of coffee, why wouldn't customers just switch to Pepsi?

            The real questions would be:
            >why would anyone buy chainlink?
Coke is tasty, that’s why it has demand. What about link?

            >how much demand is there for link?

            The price depends on that

    Big belly, big war chest
False narrative, link is currently at 14% inflation (and will taper down to 7) which is average for the top 100, Solana got far worse yet pumped more etc
No VC backing like more recent scams
They have +500 employees, need to pay nodes, costs like audits, conferences etc
'need to decentralize the supply because SEC' lol
They likely see beyond 2030 when they run out of tokens and want to make sure their treasury could still cover the next decades of operations
