Jesus Christ, it’s not about the money. It’s about what people see in a car. Not everyone wants a fucking Lambo, even if they had the money for it.
I doubt that you could even afford a RWD sports car, and you’re just sitting calling people out for “poor wheel drive” because you’re projecting about how you can’t own one. Lmao
Who said anything about 500hp? Transverse engines are cancer to work on and understeer is fucking annoying, that's what I care about more. Post your car homosexual.
Alright then, fuck you. RWD, 4.2L Vortec 2005 GMC Envoy. Was at Kennedy Space Center last week. Gas mileage still ain’t that bad in her old age. Satisfied?
I will. And she has taken good care of me. I feel really bad that I thought about getting a Matrix XRS to replace her. I’m going to stick with her for a good while.
Everything Honda offered in the first half of the 2000s were excellent despite not being as popular as the second half of the 90s.
But honestly, the K series did some actual heavy lifting.
Well I mean the same shitty engine combo was also used in the Ridgeline and the Pilot, which is a pretty large number of shitty vehicles, the minivans just have the addition of failure prone doors and more leaky seals on top of the general drivetrain, suspension, and brake issues associated with Honda’s of the early 00s.
I see so many of these in Canada, they somehow still survived the salty winters with 300,000KM+, however they are getting pretty much to the limit by now. Dependable horse no doubt
>longitudinal RWD based drivetrain >real hi/low transfer case >manual >boost friendly i4 or F1 like low displacement V6 >actually very capable off road with a limitless aftermarket
Go be euro somewhere else. That's what the average tiny turbo car or crossover gets these days in the city. It's perfectly acceptable. Funny how 20mpg of gas is "bad" when the Honda this thread is based on burns more oil that that lol.
>transmission explodes, in Japanese*
Doesnt happen
It actually has the weakest automatic transmission to ever come from Japan and the class action lawsuits Honda lost in the 2000s proves it.
wit da 5 speed my nigga tho
Only the 2003 and 2004 suffer from that.
They don't make enough power to break the transmission. Its the V6 hondas that really had issues
How much cargo space with just the back, and with the seats down?
>poor wheel drive
“DURRRR EVERYTHING MUST BE A RWD, 500HP MONSTER!”

Nice, always liked the 4.2. Take care of her, anon.
I will. And she has taken good care of me. I feel really bad that I thought about getting a Matrix XRS to replace her. I’m going to stick with her for a good while.
whats your drug of choice?
I don’t do drugs.
impossible, you drive a gmc envoy
Is there a stereotype involving Envoy/Trailblazer drivers? Lol
side note when did we slip out of the GMT820 timeline? I am 100% positive this platform was either GMT820 or GMT830 just a few weeks ago
That wouldn't make any sense. GMT 300s were always the midsize platforms.
GMT8XX is for the bigger stuff like Yukons and Silverados.
GMT360 is for the Trailblazer and all of its clones.
why did they photoshop the wheels on
what the fuck? XD
ok they really did photoshop them on.
Why does the rear wheel look like a flat 2D jpeg?
The better Honda if I may.
Not flawless but about as close to perfection a practical car can get

>Odyssey enters chat
I did say everything but if minivans are the basis of whatever argument you're making is it really that big of a deal?
Well I mean the same shitty engine combo was also used in the Ridgeline and the Pilot, which is a pretty large number of shitty vehicles, the minivans just have the addition of failure prone doors and more leaky seals on top of the general drivetrain, suspension, and brake issues associated with Honda’s of the early 00s.
*flawed
can confirm, I love mine
This is now an RD1 superiority thread
Please step aside second Gen.
Can I get bitches in this car? Genuine question
I have gotten bitches in this car, but not because of this car.
It's very good but girls will not think much of it
I see so many of these in Canada, they somehow still survived the salty winters with 300,000KM+, however they are getting pretty much to the limit by now. Dependable horse no doubt
Tru
Ugly. First gen was better.
The perfect car doesn’t exi-
I dunno bro.... I think the Honda Element does it just a little better
mine was loud as fuck on freeway and felt like I would blow over at anytime. Randomly started leaking water into the passenger side too.
I don't know if it was just mine, but it was pretty dog shit.
These are vastly superior.

>not reliable
>19mpg
Longitudinal RWD is one of the reasons these Suzukis are better than a bunch of gay ass FWD Hondas made for chink women.
>19mpg
Undriveable
