    HDDcels hate this thread

Not sure what makes one HDDcel, but I own quite a few HDDs of larger capacity and am observing SSD affordability getting better with time. Faster at random, quieter, possibly more power efficient - sounds good to me. If they can get the same capacity and price as HDDs now, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
I'm not concerned about failures - RAID for stuff I wish to stay available during hardware faults, backups for stuff I don't want to lose after failed rebuild.
So I'm just hoping for the future to come here sooner.

SSD's are cheaper than HDD's, also why do you need more than 512gb? are you a gamer or something?

what is wrong with serial reposters?
do they seek validation in the form of (You)s?
If so, then I will reply to everyone but the OP

yes a good price unless it's used, or you bought it from somewhere without a warranty.

How is Samsung's 980 Pro 2TB NVME? I saw it dropped in price quite a bit.
