There are farmer millionaires who refuse to higher local whites because they are fucking like shitheads and you are telling me I should trust some whore wife farmer that probably does absolutely nothing. MUH FARMERS LETS IMPORTANT TONS OF MEXICANS! You can literally go to any of these small white towns now and you think on the census it's the whitest rural area in the country. Guess what shithead you'd be wrong it's filled with Mexicans to the fucking brime. How do I know because I to wanted to get away from nonwhites and I went and live in some of these places. They lie on the census they lie to get illegal workers and then the illegals stay in the country importing more of there family illegally and through farmer work visa which allow spics to stay there and import there family. You combine this with what I mentioned before they get huge hand outs from the government. Don't bring up small farms either because they aren't feeding the country at all probably not even feeding there own state. Rural retards a pussy homosexuals btw fuck them. I learned to hate them.

Instead, low-carbon sustainable solutions have to be built.

Stop being contrarian for the sake of it. We're breathing in industrial aftermath that's giving us cancer and sudden heart failure that didn't exist 100 years ago. It's not a stretch that globally the same fumes we breathe are fucking with the ecosystem. You clearly cannot comprehend how much energy it takes to collect the resources required to manufacture and then build an electric car or a solar panel. To do this from scratch you need to start with fossil fuels.

For the same reason that you need to begin with fossil fuels, you must continue to burn them, for even if our grid is 100% solar panels or turbines, if there's a large disaster, you need to go back to fossil fuels in order to rebuild.

The lifetime emissions of an electric car are lower than that of a petrol car, and that is taking into account manufacturing.

just mining the lithium for batteries and other rare earth metals for all the micro chips in new cars takes a huge toll on often poor countries, their soil and groundwater, not to speak of the labor exploitation.

                >their soil and groundwater, not to speak of the labor exploitation.
Damn, I really hope you're this much of a bleeding heart for other causes and not just as a way to derail moving away from fossil fuels. I agree, shitty labour practices should stop. Doesn't mean we should not move towards divesting and moving towards electric and non-petrol cars.

so, "rare earth metals" aren't actually rare, they're everywhere. They're rare in the british sense, as in rarified. They don't have seams or veins like gold or iron. They are very low density, which means you have to strip mine to get them.

its not that simple. There are growing zones based on climate and altitude, and there is an awful lot of marginal land that isn't useful for anything other than grazing. There are also different soil types based on PH and other factors, as well as access to water, prevalence of pests and other crop threats such as fungus and disease. We do grow too much corn though, blame all the fucking subsidies and porkbarrel that allows for that.

I don't want your rational explanations, anon. Obviously, it's the great reset. They created the virus as a bioweapon to kill us. I mean, the virus is fake and they're going to kill us with the vaccine. I mean, they were using the vaccine to implant nanobots in us and they're going to starve us to death.

Anon, you're a schizo. The virus is real and it will collapse our medical system because it has a 3% IFR. I mean, it has a 1% IFR. I mean, it has a <0.005% IFR. Anyways, you need to take this vaccine because it is 100% effective in preventing infection and will end the pandemic. I mean, it is 90% effective. I mean, it is 75% effective. I mean, it was never supposed to prevent transmission, but it reduces symptoms and our hospital system will collapse if you don't take it.

A tale as old as time: Schizos can tell there's a conspiracy theory, but can't tell who's doing what.
The reality is that the ranchers had these cattle insured for an insane amount of money. We're talking more than $20,000,000. They know everyone is riled up about food shortages right now because of all the business going on in the developing world thanks to Ukraine, and our water issues back home.
They let the cows go three days without water because that would guarantee every single one of them dies. This wouldn't happen due to basic 108F heat stroke on this scale, not in a million years. And they're writing these cattle off as lost assets due to climate change or water shortages or whatever else sounds good, when in reality they murdered them for money.
It's a conspiracy theory, and it's definitely true. It's not the World Economic Forum using radiation lasers and it isn't the CIA using cyanide, but it's awful people killing innocent, living cows for money in a horrible way, and that needs to be dealt with.

Good, I'm glad that's settled. We can go back to feeling comfy and unconcerned now. I guess all those burned out food processing plants are also involved in low-level conspiracies to destroy their business for insurance payouts. Someone should look into these actuaries writing policies that are more profitable than the capital they insure. You don't think an insurance company would investigate for foul play on a $20mil payout, do you?

                Anonymous

why would a rancher destroy his product? consider this, if ranchers have been insuring their cattle in this country for decades, why hasn't anyone committed fraud in this way before? don't you think it's more profitable to just sell the cows to meat processing plants? at best they'd get the market value price for the cows, but probably less. i doubt there's a scenario where they would make more on insurance than just selling them.

well, it doesn't make sense for "the elites" to do it just to cause instability. If I was a billionaire or even a millionaire I would want everything to be as stable as possible so I can go on making money. Maybe some major for processor is doing it to a rivals supply. If I was a billionaire capitalist, it could make sense to sabotage my competitors and drive up prices.

I could see a sabotage of my competitors if I was a wealthy capitalist. But that would have to be blamed on competition and concentrated wealth, not some unknown gov agency.
But still, the ultra rich have all power, and they have all the incentive to hang out in the background enjoying their wealth and not rocking the boat. The only time they act is when someone wants to tax them, raise wages, or do other lefty shit

                Anonymous

Again, the only explanation you seen to have is "they're evil and insane because reasons". If you are a tiny minority that is largely hated, but somehow you had all the money and power, you'd want to lay low and not jeopardize your extremely precarious position. This conspiracy makes no sense.
The only conspiracy that makes sense is the idea that profit seeking behavior and the market cause damage to society in search of short term profits. Now, everyone here is pro-capital so that's out.

yes, i'm sure they have their reasons, but it doesn't matter if we know them or not. all you have to do is look at their actions and you can see the elites hate us and want us to suffer. then you look at the early life section and realize they're all also gnomish. your lack of noticing capabilities does not change that.

You know banker elites have funded both sides of wars throughout history? Chaos is profitable, especially when a population is gaining strength and threatening your strangehold on power. Sometimes it's to cull the herd and absorb the wealth of a growing middle class. Sometimes it's to smash a potential unification that would have people working together for their own interests instead of yours. Sometimes it's to make people cry for a solution that you present in the form of a stronger government with expanded regulatory powers. After 2008, Occupy Wall Street blew up and the financial elite were threatened by a unified mass of men and women of different races, religions, and social classes. They then pushed woke "leftism" through schools, media, and corporate HR and stoked the fires of the culture war wherever they could. As to the current chaos, you said it well: "If workers are hungry and desperate, they'll work for cheaper." If they give the masses time to get their bearings and take stock of the world, the masses will notice that their quality of life is declining at the same time as wealth inequality is deepening to the point of neo-feudalism. The answer is chaos, poverty, despair. Stability is well and good for millionaires, but trillionaires need the people distracted - world wars, the cold war, culture wars, anything to keep the people throwing stones at each other instead of them.

                >Normal elite want a healthy people beneath them
Isn't 90% of the ideology espoused here basically "if you're poor you deserve it, get fucked"? If workers are hungry and desperate, they'll work for cheaper. It's the voluntary system we live in.

                Anonymous

It's an equilibrium. The optimal setup is for workers to feel like they have a lot to lose and that they can lose it at any time but also feel like they can escape their situation if they just keep grinding things out. When you get too many workers that are going hungry and desperate their calculations change and risking their life in something like a bloody revolution becomes more plausible. That's why actual literal communists are so weak in America throughout history. Too few workers are experiencing the material conditions needed to radicalize them.
