3 months ago I almost died from autoimmune encephalitis. They caught it pretty late because I was not being treated at a institution fully equipped to recognize and treat it. I only got treatment because I got transferred to Mayo clinic. They did neuropsychological testing on me last week and told me that I incurred some permanent damage from the whole debacle. They told me that my verbal intelligence is mostly intact, but I suffered huge hits processing speed, spatial cognition, and episodic memory. Going back to work is pretty much out of the question as I was working toward a graduate degree in physics and was employed by the University. I can hardly look at some of the coursework I was doing only weeks before the onset. Just wanted some insight on what you guys think I should do /advice.
I wouldn't really let those nerds tell you what you can and can't do anymore.
Unironically this.
I've been in a similar position, but turns out I can still run circles around pretty much anyone. I won't go into more detail, but that's the gist of it.

Congratulations you're now a redundant human / useless eater. Either kys yourself or get busy serving your betters. Don't expect to keep your friends either. As a brainlet you're no longer worth talking to.
Somebody needs to pick up trash and clean toilets. That person is you.
Nice sour grapes, weakling.
There are two types of people in the world. Us superiors, and those chosen to serve us. You should be grateful for every day you get before full automation.
Fall behind; get left behind.
Shut the fuck up fucking retard
Oh dear Lord, the projection of a common midwit.
kys retard
Textbook israeli demoralization
You're seeking a 2nd opinion from Dr. LULZ?
See a fucking neurologist.
But if you're truly looking for schizo opinions, then maybe lions mane to help repair/regrowth of nerve cells and a shit ton of anti-oxidents to clear out free radicals used by your immune system.
Lol
I just came here to say that I learned about hyperreflexia not too long ago, and that histamines have this as a predictable side effect in some people. Not thst it will do this for you but you're asking LULZ for advice. Reading about it could be fun for you to
I'm not a doctor but I think therapy or "brain training" could help you make the best comeback you can
>Lion's Mane
That stops working if you stop using it. What about psylocybin?
start running and doing cardio. good luck
Vaxx status?
Required for the department but I used a fake card that I bought off some guy on Facebook during the first wave, I have no vaccinations besides the ones I got when I was a baby
Write a report about how the loss of IQ feels. Do experiments.
Too*
They really should have given you some things to read through and have had a blueprint to use to help you make a plan for recovery and the rest of your life, in my opinion
Semax 1% (Consult your doctor before using, given your condition)
Dual N Back (Unironically works, with 75-80% of progress becoming permanent)
Cardio (2 hours)
Commit to the aforementioned for at least a period of 7-8 months
Research has shown that the brain experiences an increase in grey matter volume (5-8 cm3) after several months of consistent aerobic exercise. By combining endurance and cardio with a brain training exercise such as DnB you should be able to regain most of the functions that you previously lost. You may not be whole again, but it's better than nothing. I'd also advise you to microdose magic mushrooms as they have been shown to increase synaptic plasticity as well as dendrite growth in the PFC
Cortexin/Cerebrolysin (May cause autoimmune issues if you're allergic so I'd probably not take the risk)
There’s no way the doctors know any of that shit. They almost killed your ass. Stop being a whimp about your brain. You don’t even need it if you’re smart enough. I had radiation and a few hatchet jobs but I can still larp here without frequently being called an idiot. I’m sure you can manage. Don’t take any of those medications. You need to make you own hormones and transmitters and junk.
Unironically start reading Ted. The alternative is a world of pain.
You don't need your brain if you're smart
I'm sorry to hear. That's pretty rare. You probably couldn't have done much to prevent it. But many autoimmune encephalitis patients do make pretty astonishing improvements. Did they figure out what the antigen was? And how did they treat you?
>autoimmune encephalitis
Poor jabbie.
